I wonder if mermaid sims can grow legs when they go on land? cuz it'll be a bit weird with a sim looking like it's walking with a tail.

Hope there's more

because I want a mermaid so badly but the info they gave us now makes me want to change my mind because it feels like their nothing special. Hope there's more to them because I really want mermaids to be cool. I wish that they were in CAS.

Mermaid Sign

Why the mermaid tatto is the mermaid sign of the page? 79.180.126.67 (talk)

Good question. I've looked in the game files, but there's no icon that represents mermaid at all, unlike other life states. The mermaid tattoo is the only thing that's close to represent the icon, unless you can point out something else. Nikel _{Talk – Vote!} 07:12, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

Toddlers, children, teens

I've been looking around, and noticing that there isn't much about different life stages of a particular species. The "Toddler" page only refers to Vampire toddlers, not of any other occult. Also, this page doesn't talk much about the uniqueness or simpleness of a mermaid offspring. Help?Kajune (talk) 22:58, August 1, 2013 (UTC)

That makes sense, since even though a Sim has become an occult since birth, but most of their abilities are only visible once they become teenager. The reason I can take why the toddler page has Vampire Toddler subsections is because vampire in Late Night was the first life state ever that offspring can inherit from the parents. Now that most occults have this attribute, this is no longer unique. Therefore, I suggest revision for the subsection as it's not necessary anymore. Nikel _{Talk – Vote!} 07:43, August 3, 2013 (UTC)

Mermaid in bathtub??

Killer mermaids

The feature to kill sims by mermaid in this article should have citation link or whatever. There been ton of reports from players unable to kill the victims (either being bugged or proclaim to be indirectly killed via drowning).
