Playability

Why exactly is he classified as "Deceased" instead of "Unplayable"? Nikel _{Talk – Vote!} 14:28, November 27, 2013 (UTC)

Broken face template?

I've removed the statement about him having a broken face template, just until someone finds concrete evidence that this is actually true.

If he has a broken face template, then the template would look like the 'fixed' one shown in this reference here, but if it's the 2nd face then it will look like the 'old' one.

This is rather complicated since I can't tell just by looking at Michael's head-shot. And I may not be able to answer this myself any time soon. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 07:56, July 29, 2014 (UTC)

Yes, he uses a broken face template. Still, it may not be his genetic face template, as no one has confirmed what he looks like if he is aged to a different life stage. The broken face templates are only distinguishable while in the adult stage. If Teen and under, they'll look like the second face. For Elders, both will look like the adult version of the 2nd face. Maybe an older instance of Pleasantview would be needed to make sure which broken face he actually used (practically impossible to get), but he definitively used one of them. -- Ryo205 14:22, January 8, 2016 (UTC)

We still don't know if he did for sure, since the template doesn't necessarily have to be broken for him to use the adult version of the second face. There is a version of the second face that exists that doesn't change when they transition from adulthood to elderhood.

It's extremely likely that he uses one of the broken faces, and we can safely say that he does, because the version of the second face that I mentioned is very rare, and only found on Sims like Tara Kat, Cyd Roseland, Cynthia Kim, Robert Kim, Lyla Grunt, Creon Nigmos, and Willow Nigmos.

I was almost certain that this version of Michael used a broken face template, but I removed the information previously because I couldn't know for sure, since he uses a portrait pose that was discontinued during development. So I couldn't do a close examination with this Michael, and the version that can be resurrected in-game to be absolutely certain that it was the adult version of the template that this Michael uses and not the elder version.

I also know for a fact that the version of the second face template (the one that doesn't change during elderhood) has a slightly longer nose and jaw on females. Which can be proven on this page. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 21:32, January 8, 2016 (UTC)
