Set Gender[edit source]

In my game I have the three base game neighbourhoods and my custom neighbourhood where most of the social class townies the game has randomly generated are female. I used to have Belladonna Cove where most of the computer generated social class townies were male. I can remember playing around with the NPC and Townie Maker and using the set gender option. Could it be because in my game the NPC and Townie Maker was usually set to female? -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 22:54, February 5, 2014 (UTC)

I don't really think so. I think the gender assignment is only used for any townies and NPCs that are generated with this object, but I really don't know the exact answer. That object is quite broken anyway. Nikel Talk Vote! 07:38, February 9, 2014 (UTC)

It's a Tree with Different Options?[edit source]

I don't have the expansion pack for this, but I shift-clicked my Sim and clicked 'Spawn' and 'NPC and Townie Maker'. A tree appeared...you know, that spooky tree with all the crooked branches. It had NPC things and Townie things, but also things like changing skin tone! I clicked on one of the options. It came up with that message when you Force Error to things! It said the Error was: interacting with an object that isn't reachable or  something like that. Huh? I want to use this object and maybe I'll need to get the approprite expansion pack for it. I don't want a Glitchy object that has Force Error 24/7, so I Force Errored it myself.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.220.243.131 (talkcontribs) 11:48 02 April 2014 (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

I think if you don't have the game above Nightlife, the object would be a tree. And since it was the old version of the debugging object, expect it not to be stable nor work properly. Nikel Talk Vote! 16:07, April 2, 2014 (UTC)

I'm not really sure. I think I may have seen the tree before, but I think that was when I was playing on someone else's computer and Apartment Life wasn't installed. I tried the option "Force create townies" or something like that, but nothing happened. So I didn't bother using that option thereafter. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 02:31, April 3, 2014 (UTC)

Turn a Sim to a townie[edit source]

Can this turn a normal Sim to a townie/NPC? If not, is there's any other way? Imasexysimlover (talk) 23:07, September 6, 2015 (UTC)

No. The only ways I'm aware of is with SimPE, or the Teleportation Painting. It might be possible to do it using the InSimenator, but I can't remember off the top of my head whether it is or isn't possible. I'd have to check whether it's possible to do it using the InSimenator, but it's definitely possible to do it with SimPE, or the Teleportation Painting. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 03:29, September 7, 2015 (UTC)
Really? In this thread at Mod The Sims user mentioned that a way to make a playable Sim a townie is by spawning the NPC and Townie Maker (But that user said it was a leafless tree), so does the tree has more interactions than the gun? Anyway, thank you! Imasexysimlover (talk) 16:16, September 7, 2015 (UTC)
I wouldn't think so, because the gun came from a more recent expansion pack, so I assume it would be an updated version, of the spooky tree version. I can remember seeing the spooky tree version of the cheat object, when I was playing the Sims 2 at a friend's house. But I don't remember seeing it any other time, so I don't know exactly which expansion packs are needed to access the spooky tree version of the cheat object, but it would require Nightlife, because the tree that the cheat object resembles originated from that expansion pack. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 03:40, September 8, 2015 (UTC)
