Pagecover[edit source]

I've removed the {{pagecover}} from the article. The image that was used in it was the same as the one used in the infobox. Additionally, the pagecover is an optional feature, so it's not required that we have one; I think we should hold off on adding it until we have a good picture to use. - LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 06:34, July 17, 2014 (UTC)

Zeste family[edit source]

The "Zeste" family is not new AT ALL. The story is that Johnny Zeste is actually the first child of Nancy and Geoffrey (Malcolm's older brother) and might even be the Malcolm seen in TS3- but he changed his name when he was kicked out of Landgraab Estate to become a musician. Right? Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 14:22, September 2, 2014 (UTC)

Where did you hear that from? Nikel Talk Vote! 12:21, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
Landgraab family when he dropped out of school, he now hopes to find his own fame and fortune as a standup comedian. He’s learned the hard lesson that when the 'Landgraabs cut you off, they cut you off all the way! Living in a trailer, blessed with theLandgraab looks but without the name or the money; will he make it to the top to show mom and pop he had what it takes all along? We’ll leave the fate of this black sheep in your capable hands.
So yeah. He was disowned by them. So he changed his name to Zeste when he became a magician, and called it a day. Wonder what happens if you play as him and go to visit the other 3 Landgraabs, does it shown as dad, mom, and younger brother? Someone should try that. I do not have TS4 currently. Once i play him, i will make him go on the top of the Comedian career, in the meanwhile changing his name to Johnathan Landgraab, finding him a wife, and reuniting him with his family. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 17:53, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
Again, where did you get that from? And what's that on the link??? Is it the description of the family? Even if that's the case, the Landgraab family returned, but this Sim is new, and therefore he's not a returning family. The Landgraabs are. Nikel Talk Vote! 13:29, September 5, 2014 (UTC)
It's not his family description in-game. http://www.thesims.com/news/familiar-faces It's actually how it's described in this article. Also, the TS3 Landgraabs and TS3 Langerak are seen as Returning, even though they technically are a different branch of Landgraabs, and a family that's very loosely based on the Kaylinn in TS2. Of course, even through these are just a second cousin once removed & an aunt at most, and an "honorary" member of the family & someone who just happens to have the same surname due to it coming from a placename in South Holland at least. Okay, they still have the same surname unlike Johnny, but if the Langerak's from TS2 to TS3, and the Landgraabs also from TS2 to TS3, Johnny is actually part of the Landgraab family and is Malcolm's brother. Just being disowned does not make him a completely different family! Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 17:35, September 7, 2014 (UTC)
I hope I fixed the controversy on Johnny Zest's page. (It appears, as Zest in my game and on the above article) I didn't specifically mention the connection except that he is disowned from the Landgraabs. (Article says mom and pop, but game does not although it is the most logical placement.) In game he is also treated as a separate sim with no relation or acquaintance to the rest of the Landgraab household. I added his own bit to the Landgraab family which may or may not remain depending on the wikia's outlook. Vanherrmann (talk) 01:27, September 8, 2014 (UTC)

Oasis Landing[edit source]

Could Oasis Springs be the Oasis Landing of the past? --Kyle03 (talk) 20:07, August 13, 2015 (UTC)

Oasis Springs appearance to suburban Phoenix, Arizona[edit source]

As a resident of the state of Arizona, I can tell you that no part of Phoenix looks like that. If anything, Oasis Springs looks like a more rural version of Kingman with a landscape somewhat like Grand Canyon, areas of Black Canyon near the Hoover Dam, and the southern part of Glen Canyon around and south of the Glen Canyon Dam. --Meiko Megurine (talk) 07:33, October 22, 2018 (UTC)

I've changed the opening to refer to the Southwest US collectively, rather than a specific location. I feel this is the best course of action since, as far as I know, the developers never stated that Oasis Springs was based on any specific real place. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog · contribs 14:39, October 23, 2018 (UTC)
