Grim Reaper, ex-lover[edit source]

Is the Grim Reaper really an ex-lover? They have been lovers in the past, but "ex" implies that they are no longer in love, not no longer having WooHoo (an action with finite duration). This should be confirmed by checking Olive's memories and relationship panel. -- a_morris 13:58, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

The only memory Olive has of the Grim Reaper is having woohoo with him. So they were never "lovers" as defined by the game, but I think, in this case stating they are ex-lovers is acceptable. -- a_morris 23:43, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Olive Specter's Grave Yard[edit source]

since strangetown, doesn't yet have the lots posted on its page.we should include olive spectors graveyard as a subsection on her page. which should include all the ppl who died on her lot. her page should also include her mystery a subsection(just like bella goth's page). oh and her bio description should also be added.

I have to admit only gaining such intrest in olive since yesterday, I never really played strangetwn. Unfornately, i'm not so intruged as to go as far reinstall the Sims 2 to explore such mysterious sims. So can someone please tell me who aexactly died on her lot,(includong npcs, townies, etc.)? just to mellow my lazy curiousity;p --- sincerly ^_^FREEDOM 55

TALK - Hey there.
Her three husbends are buried on her lot. Her sister and brother-in-law are buried there as well. The man who left her is also buried there. Her parents are buried there. Lyla Grunt is one of those buried there as well. Anymore questions, just ask me.

A WOMAN WHO'S HUSBAND HAS DIED IS A WIDOW, NOT A WIDOWER. A WIDOWER IS A MAN WHO'S WIFE HAS DIED. CAN SOMEONE CHANGE THAT? IT WONT LET ME EDIT THAT PART FOR SOME REASON--68.195.43.207 14:06, 16 July 2009 (UTC)USAGI

Solved. She's not a murderer, because sims cannot kill others. So... How did they die? There is a broken outdoor TV and it's raining outside, and someone (whose liked olive, willow, lerato, or peponi) tried to fix the TV to give a big surprise, and got electrocuted. Drowning? Willow and other drowned ghosts went to the public pool when they're alive and got drowned there, it was late and Ophelia is really worried about her parents so she went to take them home and she realized that she's orphaned. Fire? They want to extinguish the flames and got burned. Disease? Those are Roaches' fault! Starvation? The fridge is broken and they can't repair it... And got starved. Easy!!!! ^_~

Olive's Victims[edit source]

This Section title is extremely bias to the theory that she is a serial killer. It should be changed, as it is not canon, and just one, albeit popular,of the many theories about Olive's past. Maybe it should be changed to something like: Sims Associated With Olive, Sims Who are buried on olive's Lot, or Sims who died Mysteriously on Olive's Lot. Or something other than the bias title that is currently on there. The same should be done with "List of Olive Specter's victims"

My opinion on the dead people in Olive's backyard.[edit source]

I think that all the dead people in Olive's backyard is just a reference to her surname - Specter, which could be a reference to the word 'spectre* which means a ghost ot phantom.Because dead sims in the sims series turn ino ghost,it makes sense.Dailingping11 20:24, February 20, 2012 (UTC)

Russian translation: Оливия vs Гертруда[edit source]

I have been playing The Sims 2 from 2005. I live in Russia, I speak Russian over 20 years.

There are TWO versions of translation.

  • In fist version there were Оливия Спектер (Olive Specter), Лола Синглес (Lola Singles), Дина Кальенте (Dina Caliente), Мариса Бендетт (Marisa Bendett), etc. The translation was not adapted, but it was wonderful!
  • In second version there are Гертруда Некрономикон, Лола Незамужних, Дина Гонгадзе... Most of playable pre-created sims and ALL npc's were absurdly renamed. The translators tried to adapt, but the result is awfully ridiculous!

When you first play with adapted translation, you always ask: "Why? Why the beautiful last name «Caliente» was remade in foolish and dissonant «Gongadze»? Why Olive had become Gertrude?" and so on.

I think that the page Olive Specter needs both versions of translation. Because information in wikia should be based on the facts of real life. Зелёный чай, она же Ivaristal

Just wondering, how come there are two versions? I agree if the article shows both versions of the translation, providing someone can find them without having to replace the other. Nikel Talk Vote! 13:11, December 25, 2012 (UTC)
I don't know why there are two versions. But they exist. May be two different firm localized the game... Or even if it was the only firm. For example, both usual edition of the game w:c:elderscrolls:The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and gold edition were localized by firm called "1C", but the difference is impressive. Well then. I think when someone can provide 2 Russian names of a Sim, he/she can simply add another row of "Russian 2," since I suppose it's confirmed that Russian has 2 version of translations. That explains why some users have been replacing the names over and over in other pages. Nikel Talk Vote! 06:42, December 26, 2012 (UTC)

The Sims 4[edit source]

Do you think Olive should be in The Sims 4? I think she should. It would be so awesome if she was still a murderer...90.223.205.134 (talk) 22:06, October 20, 2014 (UTC)
