Sign[edit source]

If his zodiac sign isn't recognized, then why is he considered a Cancer? Nikel Talk Vote! 08:35, December 24, 2013 (UTC)

Hard to say, since these universal NPCs are so odd and uncanny in the way that they're designed, such as Mrs. CrumpleButt being treated as a male. K6ka (talk | contrib) | NG Userpage | The Last Stand Wiki | The Sims Wiki | YouTube | Wikipedia 13:30, December 24, 2013 (UTC)
I can't argue with that. But the point is, this means there are contradicting statements in this article. Rod's zodiac should be either unrecognizable or Cancer. Or if both, there should be an explanation to this. Nikel Talk Vote! 14:02, December 24, 2013 (UTC)
According to the article's history, C.Syde65 added his aspiration with the explanation of "Isn't Rod Humble's aspiration Power? All NPCs I'm pretty sure have that aspiration if they don't have one of the real aspirations". Ѧüя◎ґ (talk) 15:01, December 24, 2013 (UTC)
Well, that's another thing. Checked with SimPE, he didn't have an aspiration a.k.a. the said Power aspiration, so the guess was right. I hope that the user would refrain from guessing while making a statement... Nikel Talk Vote! 16:13, December 24, 2013 (UTC)
That was supposed to be a statement, not a guess. I just didn't write it carefully enough. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 06:01, December 28, 2013 (UTC)
Oh, he doesn't have a sign or personality points when checked with SimPE, by the way. But still it couldn't explain much to the statements, as Mrs. CrumpleBottom also has no sign and personality points in SimPE, but she does when she's made selectable. Nikel Talk Vote! 16:15, December 24, 2013 (UTC)
And we all know that, once Mrs. C or any of the universal NPCs are selectable, the game is corrupted. K6ka (talk | contrib) | NG Userpage | The Last Stand Wiki | The Sims Wiki | YouTube | Wikipedia 16:35, December 24, 2013 (UTC)
Rod Humble, along with other object NPCs don't have a recognised sign in SimPE, but because in the game itself, all Sims simply must have a zodiac sign. Most of these object Sims have the "Cancer" sign because it matches their genetic personalities which are blank. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 06:29, December 26, 2013 (UTC)
That was exactly the reason why I removed Mrs. C's sign back then; because she had no sign and no personality when viewed in SimPE. But then you went ahead because she had sign and personality when she was made selectable. Well, how about Rod? Should Rod be considered to have no sign (SimPE) or Cancer (in-game)? Have you tried making him selectable? Nikel Talk Vote! 07:28, December 26, 2013 (UTC)
In these circumstances you should always consider the game over SimPE. The latter is a very good editing program but it fails to show all of it's information accurately. It often doesn't recognise the signs of all the Veronaville family bin Sims. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 06:03, December 27, 2013 (UTC)

Genetics[edit source]

Does anyone know how I can make an exact clone of Rod Humble that I can use safely. I just need to export his facial structure and I could make a replica quite easily.

Also if you can't directly open his character file, how did people manage to get a copy of his thumbnail? ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 05:56, December 28, 2013 (UTC)

Forget what I asked in the second paragraph. I found that out. But I'd still like to know how to extract him to BodyShop. After all someone did succeed in extracting the Therapist, and Mrs. Crumplebottom's appearances from SimPE to BodyShop. The download can be found here as many custom content users may already know. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 08:40, July 4, 2015 (UTC)
