Ruby Ann Hatfield?[edit source]

Could she possibly be the same character as Ruby Ann Hatfield (one of the Maxis-created Sims that was available for download from the original Sims game's official website?). I know the timelines and ages get a little screwed up when you look at all three games - for instance in TS3 how Bob and Betty are only a little older than their future son-in-law, who in TS2 seemed to be around the same age as the daughter they had much later in life - but if we take the TS3 timeline, Ruby would be just a little older than Betty etc., and that appears to be the case here. (Ruby Ann is married with 3 kids, so she could conceivably be a bit older than the Newbies at the start of TS1). Undoubtedly I'm reading too much into it, I just wondered if it was worth mentioning as a theory, since there's never any explanation for Ruby Broke's absence in the other games? "Deceased" tags[edit source]

Since she only appears in The Sims 3, and Flat, Flo, and Skip are alive in that game, it seems like they shouldn't be tagged as deceased in the infobox. Dharden (talk) 15:35, June 26, 2012 (UTC)

This is one of the hard parts to decide which tags to be used for Sims who appear in different timelines. I'm not really sure which Broke should be used, whether the alive (TS3) or deceased (TS2) ones. They're already deceased, but in Ruby's timeline, they're alive.
