Split[edit source]

I think we should give blue-eyed skip his own article as by Bella Goth (Strangetown), Darleen Dreamer (hidden), Ethan Stardust (hidden) etc. opinions? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thelamppost (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

I think that when they say suspicious pool accident, they mean the player (their creator) took away the ladder to kill him.--74.107.64.61 19:33, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

You have to relink him in order to resurrect him. Mate1234 (talk) 18:50, July 9, 2013 (UTC)

At the start of the game, Brandi's link to Skip is not broken (it will be if she remarries) so she should be able to resurrect Skip with the resurrect-o-nimitron without any problems. Ѧüя◎ґ (talk) 18:53, July 9, 2013 (UTC)
Her link is not broken, but he´s unlinked, that´s why will Grim say that she doesn´t know anyone who passed away. Mate1234 (talk) 12:38, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
How do you re-link Skip Broke to Brandi Broke with SimPE? I was just wondering. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 02:03, June 22, 2014 (UTC)

I know how to re-link his character file now. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 07:40, July 21, 2014 (UTC)

Skip's Job[edit source]

Does anyone who resurrected him know what job he had? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.163.129.219 (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

He didn't have a job. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 02:02, June 22, 2014 (UTC)

It is highly likely that Skip had a job but since most deceassed Pleasantview lack memories, thus it is impossible to determine what occupation Skip had when he was alive.  When he died, he lost his enployment and is unemployed when resurrected. OoppDecks (talk) 07:53, September 19, 2014 (UTC)

Eye Colour[edit source]

I don't get it, Skip has green eyes while the hidden version has light blue eyes. So how did Dustin and Beau get dark blue eyes? Joey.eyeball (talk) 04:01, June 22, 2014 (UTC)

One Skip was created to use for the story-telling images. The other was used for the purposes of passing on genetics. That's what I've always assumed, considering none of the story-telling images for most of the base game Sims are actually the Sims we play. Ѧüя◎ґ (talk) 04:10, June 22, 2014 (UTC)

A lot of them were either re-created or their facial structures / genetics were modified prior to release.

But most of the pre-made Sims in the Sims 2 were created separately, not together or through any actual genetic gameplay. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 04:45, June 22, 2014 (UTC)

Referencing statement[edit source]

I think we should add a reference to this fact.

If Brandi remarries, her link to Skip will be broken, and she will be unable to resurrect him.

Without SimPE, it's not possible for Brandi Broke to use the Resurrect-O-Nomitron to resurrect Skip Broke because their Relationship flags will either be reset or their relationship level isn't high enough.

This is also the case when trying to resurrect Olive Specter's victims.

This information is in some ways a continuation of the 'Resurrect' section above. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 09:44, July 28, 2014 (UTC)

Ah... back when I was playing Pleasantview, I had Brandi remarry. When she finally got a method of resurrection, I noticed that Skip did not appear as resurrectable, and concluded that it was because he had been replaced in her family tree. At the time, I wasn't aware that Skip was unlinked, and by the time I learned that, I'm afraid I'd forgotten about that statement -- and had stopped playing Pleasantview. Baa, I say, Baa! Seriously, thanks for catching it; mark it {{Confirm}} or take it out. as it assumes facts not in evidence. Dharden (talk) 12:59, July 28, 2014 (UTC)

Timeline Discrepancy[edit source]

"However, in The Sims 3, which is set 50 years in the past"

Who started this piece of lie? I think only Sunset Valley CAN be set 50 years in the past, but not all worlds - for example Lunar Lakes or Barnacle Bay... i think Riverwiev is also a world which isn't "50 years in the past" nonsense...

Xoonoxis (talk) 20:23, July 8, 2017 (UTC)

Perhaps this "lie" you are referring to was unintentional. Perhaps they meant to say "Sunset Valley is set 50 years in the past". —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 01:28, July 9, 2017 (UTC)

Death on 30 Middle Lane[edit source]

It seems like the only reason this random empty lot exists in Pleasantview was for the sole purpose of killing ressurectable Skip. The lot data for 30 Middle Lane (N001_Lot80.package) shows that the only thing that this lot contained was resurrectable Skip (N001_User00090 - Skip_objt) and a tombstone. Probably not relevant overall to the article but interesting nonetheless. Pentawa (talk) 15:10, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
