Confirmed?

The only thing that "confirms" it, is the "official" (not saying it isn't official, but EA has not called it official) trailer on InfiniteSims, if that is enough to "confirm" the game, then The Sims 3 Unleashed has been "confirmed" as well.--Eduardog3000 16:57, March 13, 2011 (UTC)

That is NOT where the trailer originated. they got it from Simprograms. He got it from EA and has had them since last month. Why? because it was originally set to be announced already but then EA delayed it. EA Australia leaked it first. After that Simprograms released their copy of the trailer. That and EA pulling uploads of it that same day should be enough.Bafendo 23:41, March 13, 2011 (UTC)

Im actually quite surprised at how little information is being released. Gender Preference Confirmation

I have played this EP and have the option with friends to ask their gender preference. Many instances of threads regarding the new gender preferences (as existed in The Sims 2) are at the Forums at www.thesims3.com. For personal confirmation however, again, I am currently playing this EP and my sim can ask other sims as a social option, what their gender preference is, as well as their Alma Mater and as with Sims 2: University, all Adult Sims that you create have a default High School Diploma in their inventory which can be put on the wall. 'Ask Gender Preference'. I've only ever done so with Sims that my Sims are friends with but I wouldn't think it requires you're friends with a sim before you ask. If you can't find it let me know. I only use a story progression mod - it doesn't give me additional interactions with Sims - so I'm certain this is part of the game itself. Nraas doesn't add interactions with his mod but I'll make 100% sure again if you can't find it in your social wheel. MiyuEmi 15:33, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry to edit again. I've checked this on numerous sites/forums now and the interaction is definitely part of the Expansion Pack. It should be under Friendly options and is called 'Ask Gender Preference'. Again I'm not sure if your sim has to be at an acceptable friendship level or not but it is there. Hope you can find it. Wicked Reference?

Ever since that title screen with the Green hand touching the White hand, I've wondered what the heck it was!! When suddenly it hit me... the green hand no duh- the Witch's hand, easy connection. But the hand also had a blue sleeve- similarly to how in the musical Elphaba had a blue school uniform. And the white hand, would subsequently have to be Glinda's! (And as I remember a majority of her outfits didn't have sleeves- ergo just a plain hand and arm.) Now I have no idea why they'd make a reference in this, except that the musical alone was about the two aging into their present-day forms, but it has no direct link to the game so... I dunno it just bugged me as to what it was, and I had to say something to see what other people think. So what do you think it is? (Secondary guess is Imaginary Friend, but I don't think they have green hands do they? Either way I like my Wicked reference idea better.) I heart marshmallow sauce 01:42, June 22, 2011 (UTC)

Console

Is there any way I can get this expansion or other expansions for console? I'm using an Xbox 360 if that changes anything. I feel like I'm missing out. Aperture Science 23:23, August 17, 2011 (UTC)
