Talk:The Sims 3: Late Night/twitter interview

This is a page for discussing improvements to The Sims 3: Late Night/twitter interview

Talk pages are used to discuss changes or improvements to the article or page only. Please use the game discussions forum for game discussions, help desk for game questions, or the off-topic forum for general conversations. Real-time conversation about The Sims (as well as off-topic discussions) can also be found on The Sims Wiki's IRC Channel or Discord server.

The Sims Wiki would like to encourage a healthy Q&A with the producer and asks participants to keep questions within the scope of excisting Sims games or upcoming Fast Lane Stuff or Late Night. There will surely be similar oppertunities for other future releases some other time. Duskey(talk) 21:31, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

What would you ask Grant Rodiek? Please add your thoughts and ideas. Duskey(talk) 21:31, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Are you going to be able to combine the new m. instruments with the guitar and make Sims play as a band like in TS2? ;) - JEA13 [iTalk] 09:18, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

will there be any new skills for this expansion? and if so what are they? - —Preceding unsigned comment added by Canadianidiot (talkcontribs) - Sign your comments with ~~~~

Will there be returning families from The Sims 2 ? Will Mrs. Crumpelbottom appear again and start beating romantic sims?

why is clarification needed for the Butler as a new NPC? it was confirmed as being in Late Night by Grant during the twitter event. Bafendo 06:06, August 5, 2010 (UTC)

Will vampires have motives excluded or will have the same ones? It doesn't really make sense for vampires to have to use the bathroom. Can a vampire kill a Sim if it drinks all his blood? Jeddings123 19:35, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Changes to the Transcript[edit source]

How should this transcript be treated in regards to making corrections? For example, if a question directed to Grant was misspelled or called the game Nightlife or After Dark, instead of Late Night, are these mistakes going to be corrected or acknowledged at all in the transcript? Or, alternatively, are we going to (attempt to) preserve the transcript in a form as close as possible to the form in which it originated?

As a note, I've placed a notification at the top of the transcript asking readers not to add their own questions to the list (as there's no way they'll receive an answer there); until there's some sort of consensus as to what to do here, I'm going to expand the template to ask that editors do not make any revisions to the transcript - this is only temporary, until there is some sort of agreement. Also, I'm not a fan of the template saying "warning" as I don't think it warrants such strong language, but the template is limited in that regard.

Please state below your preference for this transcript in the long-term. Thanks. -- Patrick (LostInRiverview) (talk)(blog)(random page) 00:04, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
