The Maxis Logo[edit source]

Detailed features template[edit source]
What is the purpose for having {{The Sims 3: University Life/Detailed features}}? Why wouldn't we just include this information on the page directly? Does anyone have an explanation for why the template was added instead? -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 06:59, January 10, 2013 (UTC)
- I was referred to this question.
- The reasons why I separated the info to a separate template are to avoid messy edits in the article, which come from the detailed information and to prevent contributors to endlessly scroll down the article (if editing the main article and not a particular section).
- But, that is just my opinion. If there is no need for the template, then I can transfer them to the article and added the delete template there.

Really? I avoid high-traffic pages like this one from my watch, so I didn't notice. This is one reason why we shouldn't have created Sims University page, because the name is provisory. I have two questions...[edit source]
1.Will there be a new age? - In Sims 2: University they created young adults just for university...will there be an even younger age than young adults, but older than teens?
2.Can you have kids in university?

- Haven't gotten that part of information yet. But I doubt both questions to be true... I heard that Young Adults and older can now go to college with no age restriction, and I guess the as Sims go to college, the main world is "frozen," just like in adventures. - 1. No, there's no new age. You don't need to be a young adult (or teen!) to go to university - you can be an elder or adult.

Here's some new information from the latest Q & A. From here, I'd point out that:
- No pets in college again.
- No secret society
- Only playable Sims go to college. Just like traveling. Just like boarding school. The rest of the residents in the town remain uneducated. Sigh.

New Life States?[edit source]
I was wondering is there going to be a new life states if its not it will be like sims 2 free time because it doesn't feature new life states. If it is I think the new life states will be super hero. Because some nerds of the upcoming game might like super hero comics so I think Super Hero will be the new life states for S3 - UL.

- Uh, no. Rumor is, that the Plantsim from The Sims 2 Seasons will return. There's a few things that hints towards this. 1. 'Play with herbs' 2. A machine with a tube the size of a Sim seen in the trailer that also has a place to add samples. In the trailer it was a plant. 3. During the most recent Origin live broadcast, they goofed and we could see a green hair style in CAS during the demo. It looked more like a plant than hair. Science Skill[edit source]
Until the page is created, thought I'd add a little spoiler here. Once you max out the Science skill, a Group Science Experiment (Doomsday Machine) is added to the family inventory. The is the same 3 Sim machine found near the Science Building.The Black Scorpion (talk) 04:47, March 6, 2013 (UTC)

- I really can't tell. It's just that EA decided to do so, although Twallan's Traveler allows you to have seasons there, I think... Maybe EA just didn't want to risk having any issues regarding temperature or precipitation while we're adventuring, which is kind of stupid and odd. Nikel Talk – Vote! 15:04, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
