Impossible to ressurect

I've played the console version and I've found that only ghosts in the current household can be brought back to life 5 days after they died. Timaeus is way past it and cannot be resurrected due to this it is impossible to tell his skin tone and eye colour and et cetera. Timaeus Goth and Rebecca Goth possibly not related?

While playing Sims 3 (Pets for console, specifically) I encountered the ghost of Timaeus Goth, I had Rebecca Goth in my household and had them interact with each other, according to the game, they had no relationship, this doesn't mean they aren't related, maybe it just wasn't implemented that they were related in the game.
