Island?[edit source]

Like all neighbourhoods, Twinbrook is technically an island. This fact is hard to discover, but in gameplay go into map view and press tab. This lets you see things that you can't see normally, and gives a view of all of Twinbrook. Unusually, if you follow the river near the Rackets' house, there seem to be buildings which look like skyscrapers. Some people think it is a reference to Bridgeport. The only other world which has this is Champs Les Sims, though it also has the Eiffel Tower.

I really think this section needs a complete overhaul. While it's technically true, it's still somewhat misleading. If Twinbrook is an island, it has massively expensive and unnecessary infrastructure for one. Perhaps cull this whole section, and add a note on the main Neighbourhood page about the fact that Sims 3 worlds are, by necessity, only ever superficially landlocked, and mods and the tab key can reveal structure not really intended for everyone to see. Young Notzo?[edit source]

I am really hoping this info is fake Skip Broke as a child is bad enough but Notzo Curious as a toddler! This is just ridiculous.--Thelamppost 00:20, May 30, 2010 (UTC)

It isn't a fake, it has been confirmed. It may have something to do with the new Time Machine, that seems to be EA's main excuse now. Maybe it says something in the family bio or Twinbrook could be at a totally different time frame from Riverview an Sunset Valley. --Guffers 09:27, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

I don't think they need an excuse, it looks more and more like TS3 is a reinvention of the TS2 neighbourhoods and families - something more like an alternate reality - to a prequel. (Kiwi tea 10:39, May 31, 2010 (UTC))

Yup, this is why Ginia Kat's name is Holly Alto instead, Michael and Bella look nothing alike, Kaylinn Langerak is some years\simdays older than Mortimer and Bella, et al. Guessing some TS3 sims do not exist in TS2. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 12:26, June 1, 2014 (UTC)

[edit source]

Unless that quote from Rodiek is machine translated, I think it's fabricated. I can't find a source for it anywhere at all, and the bad grammer ('amount' instead of 'number', etc) points to a vandal.

Deleting Sections?[edit source]

I have to question the purpose of having a section for possibly returning families, as well as a section for lots, as both at this point seem highly speculative. However, with about a week left to release, it hardly seems like a major issue, does it? LostInRiverview 07:50, May 25, 2010 (UTC)

Those sections were add to mirror the other pages, and so that as info flowed in from fan events they could be filled with sourced information. Unfortunately, one particular vandal has decided to make a campaign of adding the families they wish were returning, possibly to shout the fabricated news on the official forums. It's no speculation that there will be returning families - Rodiek has confirmed we'll see 'some old faces'. It's just totally speculative as to who those might be. Maybe you're right now.(121.73.162.112 10:08, May 25, 2010 (UTC))

The Residents of Twinbrook[edit source]

How come that hasn't been updated? The game's been out for three days basically. If it doesn't get updated by the time I get the game in the UK, I'll do it, but still. 86.141.114.56 07:38, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

Everyone is busy playing the game! I'll help out after I play a bit Guffers 07:45, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

I'll help out as soon as I get the game, then play. 86.141.114.56 15:30, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

I also want to know why noone has made any pages for the residents of Twinbrook? Im getting the game today and i'll try to help but I really think they should have pages too.♥Icyyy♥ 13:53, June 4, 2010 (UTC)

DeAndre Wolf(e)[edit source]

In the household name and description DeAndre's last name is spelled "Wolfe" but the actual character's name is spelled "Wolf". But either way it wouldn't make him a member of the Wolff family. --a_morris (talk) 14:02, June 5, 2010 (UTC)

Yup, he is not a member of the wolff family, he would be a member of the wolfe family! Unless he changed his name or got the name "wolfe" from a stepfather. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 11:56, June 1, 2014 (UTC)

Beautiful Vista[edit source]

Which residential lots give the Beautiful Vista moodlet? Or is there already an article addressing this question that I've been overlooking? Tchotchke 00:38, June 20, 2010 (UTC)

Twin Peaks?[edit source]

Could it be possible that this neighborhood was based off of, and in reference to the 90s drama? First time I looked into the game, I've been itching to find out since - personally, I sense great similarities. Especially the name. 69.244.220.111 21:54, July 3, 2011 (UTC)
