Taro is a pre-made female hyena from Felicity Island, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Castaway Stories. She appears in the Shipwrecked and Single story at the Scavenger Fields, where Nanihi gets chased into a tree by the hyenas; Taro, Wairua, and Patupaiarehe. The protagonist throws the bone that they had picked up at The Boneyard to distract the hyenas and save Nanihi. Taro may be encountered again at community lots during and after the story. She can be adopted by Sims who have befriended her. As far as personality goes, Taro is a genius, lazy and finicky hyena. She doesn't have any interests.
