Template:Old PfD

This template is used on the talk pages of pages that have been nominated for deletion at The Sims Wiki:Pages for deletion. It is used to record any past deletion discussions the page may have gone through. The talk page of a page that has been deleted through the PfD process may not be eligible for G8 if the page had previously survived a deletion discussion, or if there is discussion in the page history that is worth retaining for archival purposes. As such, pages with this template are usually not eligible for G8.
Usage[edit source]
This template is used in conjunction with {{Old PfD link}}, which is used to provide the actual links to the deletion discussion pages.
If Bella Goth was nominated for deletion for the first time, its deletion discussion page would be located at The Sims Wiki:Pages for deletion/Bella Goth. If it was kept but nominated for deletion a second time, the first deletion discussion page will not be overwritten (it will be kept as an archive), and the second deletion discussion page will be located at The Sims Wiki:Pages for deletion/Bella Goth 2.
If the discussion concluded as keep for the first nomination, but delete for the second, both discussions must be logged on the talk page. If the first discussion concluded as delete and there is nothing worth retaining on the talk page, then the talk page can be deleted under G8. If the page was deleted at PfD but then recreated later on, this template should be added to its talk page.
To use this template, add the following to the top of the talk page, but below the {{Talkheader}} template:

In the above example for the Bella Goth article, it would look like this:

Which will produce:
- Bella Goth on January 1, 1970. The result was Keep.
- Bella Goth 2 on February 1, 1970. The result was Delete.
