  4. Wasn't making a family the aim of the game? Why mess up my giant 10 generation family tree for Woohoo? StartUp (talk)
  5. I have never liked the Romance aspiration... It just ruins the game n my opinion since after all, the game is about family. Avatarbender 08:42, January 19, 2014 (UTC)

  9. Sims in the Romance aspiration are going to end up in failure and in the red anyways - you can't have 40 loves at once. Let's get real. The whole point of the game was to raise a family. Romance Sims are fun to play with, but they pretty much destroy all the relationships in the neighborhood. Good for storytelling, but not in general gameplay. 10. Neither of them are my favourite aspirations, but if I had to choose one, it would be Family all the way. C.Syde65 (talk) 01:23, January 20, 2014 (UTC)

  12. While I enjoy the challenge of playing as a Romance Sim, I never thought the Romance aspiration was the best thought out in the game (romance and cheating are the same thing? seriously?!) - at least Family Sims wanting lots of kids makes sense, even if both can get a little repetitive at times. :P Beatrice Monty (talk) 15:15, January 20, 2014 (UTC)

Comments[edit source]

  • I think Family is going to win. :D Deskita
  • I think family has got this in the bag already. StartUp (talk)
  • Most of my all time favourite early CAS Sims have the Romance aspiration. But few of the ones I make these days have that aspiration. I prefer the Pleasure aspiration. C.Syde65 (talk) 01:27, January 20, 2014 (UTC)
  • Romance Sims are good for storytelling like Don Lothario, although their life will never work out in the end. Joey.eyeball (talk) 05:23, January 20, 2014 (UTC)
  • @Joey.eyeball - I agree to that. But most of my Romance Sims only start affairs when they're tempted or talked into doing so. C.Syde65 (talk) 06:26, January 20, 2014 (UTC)
  • LOL! One might as well close this battle already. HA! HA! C.Syde65 (talk) 06:26, January 20, 2014 (UTC)
  • @Joey.eyeball - Even though I always hated Don Lothario, I still agree to what you said in that comment above. C.Syde65 (talk) 03:16, January 21, 2014 (UTC)
  • I agree with Beatrice Monty. C.Syde65 (talk) 03:25, January 22, 2014 (UTC)
