This page has a very long, very complex history, and its fate seems to be tied to one question - does this Sim actually exist or not? I do not have The Sims 2: Pets for console, so I cannot confirm that this Sim exists, but I tend to think that it does not. The article lists Hilary Duff (and her dog Lola) as roommates, but those two articles make no mention of Brigette. The page on The Sims 2: Pets (console) and the page on Whiskerton also do not reference Brigette. This page was at one point relocated to the Fanon namespace, and then moved back to the main namespace for no known reason. I think on the whole, the evidence we have points in the direction of this Sim not being real. I think a Sims player back in 2010 simply created an article for a Sim they had created, an activity which was not uncommon at the time as the page's creation predates the creation of the Fanon namespace by almost a year. I can start investigating Bridgette. Let's start with this: It says on Brigette's page that Amanda Leishman is her parent and Fergus Bateman is her sibling. This cannot be true because The Sims 2 console versions do not have family trees. The only way the game could imply someone may be related is to state it in their biography. Also, if those characters were real, why don't they have pages with information about them too? The next thing to look at is her listed roommate Hilary Duff. She is a Townie that you must unlock with aspiration points. This means she does not have a household at the start of the game, so she cannot have a roommate unless you ask her to move in with you. Brigette's Biography also doesn't make sense to me and doesn't sound like a premade Sim in my opinion.
My current conclusion: A player created Brigette, Amanda, Fergus, and Skipper. Then, unlocked Hilary Duff and asked her to move in, along with her dog, Lola.
I will go ahead and load up the game and spend time unlocking Sims and see if there's any missing from the The Sims 2 Pets (console) page and confirm if any of those characters exist, but I can confirm Hilary Duff should not be listed as a roommate since she's a townie. -- MadRayneM (talk) 04:55, January 29, 2020 (UTC)
