Question on guidelines[edit source]

The image or video must be uploaded to The Sims Wiki.

Nominated images only featured on the voting page[edit source]

I've noticed that there are several nominated images which only appear on the voting page. Do we have any guidelines concerning this?

In my opinion, images that don't appear on at least one mainspace page should be ineligible as nominees for Featured Media, but I would like to hear what others think first. Lost Labyrinth • (c) • (b) 16:22, February 25, 2012 (UTC)

I suppose that's not very effective either, as the nominated images might be even used only in talk pages, sandboxes, or so. I'm not really sure with this, but unless they appear on the gallery, I think it's okay if the images are only used in here. Sometimes, good snapshots don't really fit in any articles (it might not even fit in galleries), but still good to view. Not really a wise suggestion though...
