: This article is about the storage container. For the object from The Sims 2, see Digging.

Treasure chests are a type of storage object in The Sims 3: World Adventures, The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure and The Sims 4: Island Living. Two additional chests were also patched into the base game of The Sims 4 as part of the Trick or Treat challenge.

The Sims 3: World Adventures[edit | edit source]

Chests can be found in the tombs of Al Simhara, Champs Les Sims and Shang Simla. In these, Sims can find ancient coins, relics, Simoleons or adventure gear.

Sims can also purchase their own chests from the general store register of the respective world.

The Sims 4[edit | edit source]

Chests can be used to store various objects and collectible items. All chests on a lot share the same inventory, presumably to make object retrieval easier.

In Jungle Adventure, Selvadorada's tombs contain treasure chests that Sims can loot. Their contents are reset after every expedition, so there is always something new to discover. These chests can also be bought in build mode, but they do not contain treasure when they are bought this way.

In Island Living, Sims may find treasure chests while scuba diving in Sulani.
