University hangouts can only be visited by Sims at the Sims University, although the player can build and create a university hangout on any lot in a home world.
These lots are designed for Sims to hang out and have fun. The player can easily find the local university hangout by the unique icon on the map. University hangouts are open 24 hours a day so Sims are welcome to stay for as long as they like.
