The Sims 3: Ergonomia is a Dream Fanon Expansion Pack for Sims 3. Its aim is to vastly expand the economic system that started off with The Sims 3: Ambitions. Not only that, the dream expansion pack also aims to vastly expand the production capabilities of sims, which is a primary theme of the world Heptanomis, a world created and ruled by the ever-powerful Ecclesiarchy.

Description[edit source]

To produce is to be human, and to create is a prime virtue of being a human. In Hellenic world there were innovation that impacted the world as we know it, and in the neo-Hellenic wave do we see a call to return to the Hellenic roots. Play on the Hellenic World of Heptanomis, which functions in a manner that isn't the typical SimNationian town: After all, what can we expect from the capital of the Papal State? Expand your sim's mindset, get them producing. There are so much things to be produced, and economy continue to require goods to function.

Wished Features[edit source]

  • New Skills
  • Carpentry: Wood is an highly underrated material in Sims 3: All we get is what little we get from Sculpting. No longer will your sim be bound to that limit: produce functional material and furniture from wood in a manner much more expedient than the old way. You may not be able to produce masterpieces that fetch thousands of simoleons, but one can produce much more pieces to make up for it.
  • Hoplomachia: Martial Arts have no weapons, and no one recalls Greeks fighting without their weapon (maybe with the few exceptions like wrestling or pankration, but those were used as last resort). While this implementation draws heavily from the Barbarian Rome's gladiatorial customs, diversity that the Romans offer will spice up the recreation of armed sparring.
  • Metalworking: Ever had problems with low-value ores that could not overcome the §40 threshold? Fear not, with furnaces, molds and anvils, even the lowlies of iron ores can be turned into profitable and useful products to enrich your Sims' lives.
  • New Outfits and Hairstyle: All that is Greek, and also a bit of rebellious fashion in Heptanomis in form of punk, goth, and lolita fashion.
  • New Items: Veneration of Greece, production capabilities, and more?
  • New Harvestables: Wheat, cotton, lumber trees

Objects[edit source]

  • Hairstyles: Few long straight hairs for the females, and for the males... none other than the anastole, the symbolic hairstyle worn by Megas Alexandros himself and many other Epigonoi kings wishing to follow his footsteps.
  • Outfits: Mostly Ancient Greek military apparel
  • Linothorax (Outfit alongside the Pteryges-equipped skirts)
  • Muscled Cuirass (Outfit alongside the Pteryges-equipped skirts)
  • Greaves
  • Lion Helmet associated with Megas Alexandros
  • Variety of helmets, such as the Corinthian Helmet, the Phrygian helmet, Attic helmet, Boiotian helmet, and the Chalkidian helmet.
  • Objects
  • Bloomery Furnace: Process ore for free and melt ores into molds to produce quick base products for further refining.
  • Anvils: Hammer your ingots into functional goods, ranging from decorations to gladiatorial gear.
  • Metal Etcher: Etch fine details into your metal products for extra quality!
  • Carpenter's Worktable: Process your lumber into furniture in a far faster manner than sculpting them! Or test your skills and produce siege engines for the siege engine tournaments!
  • Sawmill complex: Turn freshly cut timber into quality lumber to be fed to the worktables.
  • Mine complex: Find a ore node, and reward yourself with tons of gemstones and ores! Sell them, refine them, and manufacture with them at your leisure!
  • Tribrachia Workshop: Tired of hammering away at a miner or time machine? Don't want to manually input actions to produce nanites or chips? Fear not, Have a design and the Tribrachia will make it a breeze for your sims.
  • Statue of Megas Alexandros: You can't have a Greek-themed expansion pack without Megas Alexandros. Venerate him here and get his blessings!
  • Sun of Aigai themed decorations: Hellenic symbol that is often dubbed the Vergina Sun, named after Vergina or Aigai, the old capital of the Ancient Kingdom of Macedonia before Pella, can grace any living space, any room, and even any plaza with its glory.
  • Bio-Industrial Vat: The name Papal State is a very misleading name, for it is the Papacy that leads some of the most advanced and morally questionable (in traditional PoV) science. Produce organic things from biomass, generated from converting organic things like produce, lumber, and if one is really going with this... cats and dogs. They are also important in producing enzymes, catalysts, and raw materials, some of them very important in things like...
  • Gene Splicer: gene splicing. Enhance your sims with skills, powers, traits, and even body proportions (minus breasts) with a gene splicer! No longer will genetic disorder trouble your precious sims!
  • Food Synthesizer: Another usage of the raw materials produced from recycling unwanted organic material is to synthesize food. Being the Papacy's product, the synthesizer obviously is geared towards providing practical benefits...
  • Gaster Mechanikos: What is the Ecclesiarchy without artificial humans? With the Ecclesiarchy's technology, create your own very in-vitro offspring and join the asexual revolution! For too long has simkind been shackled in sexuality, and it is time for liberation.
