ask: Why I can't upload a picture?

I was tried to upload a picture, but I got "permission error" message, why I can't upload it eventhough I've resize the picture?

Hi Rizkirafu,

I'm not sure why. "Permission error" usually means that your account does not fulfil the permissions requirements needed to perform the operation. In other words, you are not allowed.

But I don't see why you, as an unblocked, normal user shouldn't be able to upload images...maybe check it out with the admins. I'm not that good with Wikia technical stuff, and I'm just a fledgling admin on IH (Infinite Histories, if you haven't read my profile yet) so I don't think Id be able to help you very much.

I hope the 'redirect' helps you get more fruitful answers!

Request for rollback

Congratulations on your successful nomination for rollback! I Thought I might give you a short introduction on the rollback tool.

Rollback is a feature of the MediaWiki software that runs many websites, namely Wikipedia and Wikia. It allows all consecutive edits made by one user to be undone in one click.

What rollback does. Rollback only works on the latest edit (current revision) in an article. If you click on rollback, it acts immediately. Instructing the server to perform rollback will revert all consecutive edits made by one user to the last revision not made by that user. For instance, if User A made 6 edits in a row to The Sims 2, and no one else edited after them, using rollback will revert all 6 of those edits to the last edit not made by User A.

When to use it. Because rollback does not allow for a custom edit summary, it should only be used for obvious vandalism. It should not be used to revert good faith edits or edits that have good intentions. If a good faith edit needs to be reverted, use the undo function or manually revert the edit and provide an explanation in the edit summary.

You can use rollback to:

• Revert obvious vandalism
• Revert your own edits (AKA self-reverting)
• Revert edits in your own userspace (e.g. your userpage or your user talk page)
• Revert a large amount of edits that are deemed unhelpful, such as a malfunctioning bot, as long as an explanation is posted somewhere, perhaps at the talk page of the bot.

What if I accidentally click it? It happens, because rollback works instantly. If you do accidentally rollback an edit you didn't intend to revert, just manually revert the edit and explain it was a mistake.

What else do I do after reverting vandalism? It's not strictly required, but it would be appropriate to warn the vandal on their user talk page. You can either use a hand-written warning or, now that you are a rollbacker, you can use the pre-made warning templates.

Which Sim are you game

RE: Sneak peek!

Ooh, quite the dream to have while running away from the Government! I like it.

In Fanon:Escape, I noticed the characters ate military rations, MREs, I suppose? Just wanted to put it out there that I have eaten real MREs before, and some aren't that bad. Just do not eat the oatmeal, because it looks like vomit, feels like vomit in your mouth, tastes like vomit, and will probably make you vomit. RE: Critique

You could probably elaborate a bit more on his time in prison. We know about the guards and their ruthless torturing techniques, but what about prison life in general? Did child and parents share the same cell or were they forcefully separated to prevent rebellion? Were they ever fed? How did a young child fare with having his childhood taken away so inhumanely? RE: Thumbnails

I get that issue on almost every wiki on Wikia I've been to, and I've never been able to figure out why. I usually turn off exhibition mode and go back to the classic lists. Interestingly, when I use navigation popups to check the links, they seem to be able to find the correct and relevant image just fine, so it's a Wikia issue with the category exhibition extension itself. --I am k6ka ^{Talk to me!} _{See what I have done} 02:21, October 10, 2014 (UTC)
