Hello there! Not trying to be rude, but i fairly disagree with the edit you made on Beau Andrews page. Yes, it's about the meaning of 'Beau' in English. I haven't been really knowledgeable in French, but something i can be sure of is.. that 'Beau' can be referred as both 'beautiful' and 'handsome' in English. It's probably, depending on what gender we're talking about. Presumably, 'handsome' will be more suitable since Beau Andrews is a male. How is that going with you?

Questions about The Sims Stories

Hi, wir.wiryawan! Long time no see (since I was absent and semi-active). It seems like you have all The Sims 2 series, including The Sims Stories. I want to ask something. Aww, that sucks. Anyway, if the IRC won't work for some reason, you could always try wikia chat, located on the sidebar. It's usually empty though, which kinda sucks, and it's also got some interesting glitches too. Yeah, those pages have always been an issue. As I don't have the game, and I don't think anyone here does, it's kinda hard for us to find info for it. Sorry for taking so long to reply, as I was busy in RL. Anyway, I would make separate pages for different platforms, as I'm pretty sure there'd be some difference - The Sims 3 for Nintendo Wii is rather different to the PS3 and Xbox360 version, but as I've said before, I don't have the games. IRC

Hey Wir, just thought I should let you know that as you're now an admin, you can obtain operator flags on the IRC channel. To do this, you'll need to register with NickServ. Just type "/ns register <password> <email-address>" without the speech marks and substituting the password and email fields with your actual details. Then you'll need to check your email for instructions. Once you've done that, you'll be registered and I can give you your flags. Okay, you now have operator flags! :) Now for just a few things you'll need to know:

• "/cs op #wikia-sims" (without the speech marks) will allow you to op yourself (with "/cs deop #wikia-sims" doing the opposite).
• "/kick user reason" will allow you to kick someone out of the channel.
• "/mode #wikia-sims +b user" will allow you to ban someone (with -b unbanning them).
• "/mode #wikia-sims +q user" will allow you to quiet a user, preventing them from talking (with -q reversing the operation).

However, it is information about a mod that adds vampirism in-game, so it can be considered as additional information about players who want to use that specific mod. And after all, finding mods from The Sims 1 era is rare. So, imo, the link to the mod should be kept.

How to Block

go to the user page and select "contributions" tab. you can see additional menu below the tab for example:

For USERNAME (talk | block | block log | logs | deleted user contributions | user rights management)

to block klik block. at the new page you will see the username that you want to block, expiry time, and check or uncheck what you allow or disallow when that user is blocked. if you finish, click "block this user" button.

dont forget to add the reason why that user blocked and put a blocked template on their talkpage. about blocking policies, you can read it on admin portal :) --Wir.wiryawan 08:38, September 28, 2011 (UTC)

Hey Wir, I think all those positions are filled by other admins. I know that WH has control of Featured Article and Featured Fanon while RoseGui does Featured Editor. You can however work around the Featured Article area and when someone nominates something new, you can decide whether it is good enough to go to a vote. Thanks! RE: Fanon cleanup

Hey Wir, yeah I've noticed too from that example (which I've deleted as it was abandoned). I guess all we can do is try to clean it up as far as we can, although to be honest most fanon made on the layout builder was below average quality.

Mata/Tama

I'm thinking we're both a bit confused. According to es.simswikia, there is a leopard known as Tama, and he's on Felicity Island, not Wanmami Island, like you're saying. Whilst, we have a jaguar named Mata. According to this, the name is Mata, and it is a jaguar. Now, Tama is the surname for Urari Tama and Amanki Tama. I don't know if there is more than one jaguar, but there's no source to prove that there is another one. If you do think there's another jaguar, create a seperate 'Tama' article and I won't delete it. Ѧüя◎ґ 11:49, October 3, 2011 (UTC)

Oddly enough, it seems to occur in the evening or early morning (UTC) so I'm not sure if the bot gets overworked as it's alive on like, 50 million wikis :P. I didn't mind, and personally wouldn't have noticed even when it was moved anyways. The reason why I kept it at the user page is simply because many of them are still rather incomplete, but if you deem some of them to be complete enough, feel free to move them into the fanon area: after all, I still can edit them there. Cats banishing ghosts (TS3 Pets Console)

Judging from the video, it appears that banishing ghosts is something one of the special pre-order breeds can do. It may not be something cats in general can do. Dharden (talk) 16:46, October 7, 2011 (UTC)

Point taken about the special breeds just being skins. Still, I changed it to say that the trailer shows a cat banishing a ghost. This close to release, that's probably a sign that it'll be in the game, but this is EA we're dealing with. Dharden (talk) 17:18, October 7, 2011 (UTC)
