User blog:K6ka/The Sims Wiki News - 10th January 2016
The Sims Wiki:News team looks a bit empty today, so I'll take it upon myself to do this week's weekly news amidst my busy schedule.
- First patch of the new year
Patch 29 starts the new year with a few bug fixes. Be sure to keep your game up to date!
Always remember to uninstall all mods and custom content before installing the patch, and to run the game at least once without your mods and custom content after installing the patch.[1]
- Create a World patch for The Sims 3
Those who updated to Patch 1.69 might've found that their version of CAW was broken, which this patch fixes. This patch is only for those who downloaded the Origin update; those who did not update should use this version of CAW.
- And... of course...
...yet another stuff pack for The Sims 4. It's called Movie Hangout Stuff, and for those who are familiar with The Sims 3, you know this is somewhat of a "borrowed idea" from Movie Stuff. Instead of a stuff pack filled with things from movies, however, it's stuff from the movie theatres themselves... an at-home theatre, anyone?
Coming out on January 12.[2]
