Ready for ice cream? Mmm... ice cream in the summer! If you're in the southern hemisphere and the thought of ice cream makes your stomach turn and goosebumps appear all over your body, well, I've got better news than to give you hypothermia in the comfort of your own home!

Battles!

Welp, we only have one battle to worry about this week! Now that the fanon battles have been retired, we'll only be covering the canon battles from now on, at least until consensus exists for the resurrection of the fanon battles.

So, what's new this round?

Ballet vs. Scouting — afterschool activity versus afterschool activity! Both of these are both popular pastimes for children (unless their parents just forced them into it), and while they seem to have some gender segregation in history, boys can take up ballet, and girls can take up scouting.

Those who take up ballet can move towards the more musically-inclined population, and will get a head-start on the dancing skill once they grow up. Plus, once they graduate, they get a shiny trophy for them to bring home and make their non-ballet friends and apathetic visitors jealous. You know, what's not to like about ballet?

If "graceful" movements is not to your liking, you can always push your Sims to the opposite end of the spectrum. Sim Scouts is all about getting kids into Mother Nature, getting them dirty, getting them into a place where groceries are in short supply and mosquitoes are not, and getting them lots and lots of fish. They can also earn shiny badges that also put their non-scouts friends and worthless house visitors to shame. What's not to like about the scouts?

Which of these two do you prefer? Do you prefer your Sim kids being artistically inclined or play in mud with Mother Nature? It's people like you that run our battles and determine the winner — vote now!

Phew! That was quite a bit to write! I will be taking a four-day leave next week, so sadly I probably won't be able to write next week's edition. Anyways, thanks for reading, and we'll see who writes it next week, if ever. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 02:50, August 16, 2015 (UTC)
