The Sims 4: Get Together is fast approaching! Start practicing your dance moves, fire up that DJ booth, and tend to that bar! Drinks on me!

The Sims News
Clubs, a new world, and more!

But that isn't exactly exciting, or even anything new (Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it). If you're still having trouble deciding whether or not you should get the expansion packs, the folks over at Electronic Arts have compiled a list of 15 things that will hopefully light the fire for you, if you don't light it yourself.

Seasons Greetings! for your The Sims 4 game

If you don't wanna leave your Sims out in the cold for Christmas this year, then check out the Holiday Celebration Pack for The Sims 4. Holiday lawn ornaments, holiday paintings, holiday lights, holiday wall hangings, holiday wall speakers, and holiday trees, just to see how close you can put it to the fireplace before it catches ablaze complete the picture of a nice, Christmas-themed living room. Oh, and of course, scratchy wool sweaters that look perfect for the holiday season! (Might use up an entire bottle of itch relief cream)

Patch 'em up, skipper!

A number of bug fixes, feature additions, and other holly jolly changes have been made in the 27th patch to the game. Just in time for the holiday seasons!

Always remember to uninstall all mods and custom content before installing the patch, and to run the game at least once without your mods and custom content after installing the patch.[1]

Battles!
Ding ding!

Family members are closely attached to each other... or are they? In the 133rd round of The Sims Wiki:Battles, we'll show you just how different family members can be.

Hermia Capp could really care less about her family. She's interested in two boys, but wants to go steady with one of them. Unlike the rest of her family, she's indifferent with the Montys (heck, she's dating one of their members!). But despite what you might think about Hermia, she's surprisingly shy and withdrawn. Her personality is almost the reverse of her sister, Juliette, whom we shall cover next...

Juliette Capp is the oldest child of the Capp family, hoping to please her family in her grades, her philosophies, and her relationships. She doesn't fair too well with the last one though, since she's in love with Romeo Monty, the star of the Monty family whom the Capps have an aggressive feud with. If she continues with Romeo, things might go downhill quickly from there, and perhaps death will have a few more souls to reap. Her personality is almost the reverse of her sister, Hermia, whom we just covered...

Which one of these two do you prefer? It's people like you that run our battles and determine the winner — vote now!

Focus article of the week

A Focus Article is an article that shows promise for high quality, but that is in significant need of improvement first. Each week, a new article will be the Focus Article. The following week, we'll recognize the different users that made improvements to the article.

This week's article is Electronics. Ever since its creation in 2009, it has never gotten past the point of "below mediocre", and for an article to wait six years before having some light seriously shed on it is quite a long time (But! There are stubs on Wikipedia that have been tagged since 2003...)

Last week's article was Arch. Special thanks to Thatkitten, AldoHyde, Dharden, and K6ka for helping out!

That's it for this week. Happy Simmin'! —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 02:41, December 6, 2015 (UTC)
