What's happening in The Sims and The Sims Wiki universes this week? Let's find out!

The Sims

Not much going on this week as far as "official" news is concerned. There are a few Sims-related items of note:

World Video Game Hall of Fame

This year, The Sims franchise is one of fifteen finalists to be inducted into the World Video Game Hall of Fame! If it wins a spot, it will be part of the inaugural class of The Strong's Video Game Hall of Fame, in Rochester, New York, USA. The final inductees for the 2015 class of games will be announced on June 4th. You can view the 2015 finalists here, or go here to nominate a game for the 2016 class.

Go to School mod pack

Zerbu, a The Sims fan and staffperson at SimsCommunity, is currently developing an impressive mod for The Sims 4, called "The Sims 4: Go to School." The mod—available to those who have the The Sims 4 base game and Get to Work EP—will allow players to accompany their students at school. The mod pack will include new school venues, new gameplay elements and events. You can read more about the mod pack, and keep an eye on a future release date, by visiting this page.

Fanon Peer Review Team

The Fanon Peer Review Team is up and running! The FPRT is a community-led project, intended to help fanon writers improve their works, and to help develop the Fanon namespace. If you are a fanon author, you can request help in writing or improving your fanon articles, or request a rating of your works by the FPRT. Additionally, if you are an engaged member of the community and would like to volunteer as part of the FPRT, you can do so here!
