I think many fans of The Sims series will be glad to know that The Sims 3: Pets is soon to be avaliable for retail purchase and via Origin on PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo 3DS. Pets is quite arguably the most anticipated EP yet in addition to being the most requested EP according to EA. Look out for the limited edition packages of Pets which include "one-of-a-kind" objects for the PC/Mac version and extra breeds (such as a Tiger Dog) for the console versions.
