Wiki Chat Room

They should make us a chat room so when we get bored of updating wikis we can always talk to each other. Like we can talk about either sim stuff or things that are going on. Or things we are doing today.

So we dont have to talk on here all the time, this place is more for getting work done as far as chatting. Oh yeah i had to get a root canal in my teeth it was fun. I told my dentist that well we had our fun but now its time to leave. The dentist spent 30 mitunes on another patient while I was sitting there my mouth dry the whole time, they had some kinda of plasic over my mouth in a way.--Sprite7868^talk 9:42, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

You know that wev'e got templates for each game, saying traits and aspiration etc., well I though we could have a ghost template saying how they died, what life stage they died at etc. What do you think? Difficulty

Simbio-start

For some reason, the simbio-start box is still appearing at the left side of the page for me, despite having the simbio-end on it. Is this the same for you? This is how Don Lothario's page looks for me right now, even though it has the simbio-end on it:[1]

Oh and I wanted to say that I saw those Marital Status icons and I must say that I love the idea and that they look great! If I create a Custom Neighborhood, the NPCs are the same as the Pleasantview NPCs, right? So, if I replace (e.g Remington Harris) in the Custom Neighborhood, will it also replace the Pleasantview one?

A morris, I noticed in other Wikis that characters have physical appearance descriptions (eye color, hair color, etc.) in their bios, like in the Harry Potter Wiki or The Simpsons Wiki. What do you think? Should it be added into the Sim Bio?

Re; Master template

Spouse Template?

So Random Ranaun and I were just discussing the use of the spouse template when there's one living spouse and one deceased. He advised me to use just deceased on the spouse on the page of the living sim, and use both for the dead sim (e.g., Darren Dreamer's page would just have 'Deceased' next to Darleen's name in his infobox, while Darleen's would have both 'Married' and 'Deceased' next to Darren Dreamer's name.) He said that this prevents widowed sims from being categorized as married, and although I agree that that's a good idea, I think that it lacks description and that both 'Married' and 'Deceased' should be used on both pages, simply because a sim might have a dead boyfriend/girlfriend, ex-husband/ex-wife, etc. Your thoughts? Instead of:

Okay then, thanks for helping me with all of this. One final question: in the 'Marital Status' field, are 'Married' and 'Single' the only options? I ask because I noticed you listed Olive Specter as Single. Is this the case, or are 'Dating', 'Engaged', 'Divorced', 'Widowed', and 'Widowered' valid too? RE: About player stories

Huh uh. I wonder if anyone could make that out. But anyway, how about passing a new player stories policy obliging the writer to at least use caps and fullstops correctly and not utilize "l33t sp33ch, for their stories to be kept intact? This can't go on, some users even spell first names wrong, do not turn caps on, do not add any fullstops, utilize leet speech... and its really painful to the reader's eye. - JEA13 ^[iTalk] 18:17, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
