Downtown (Hot Date) articles

Thanks for creating articles for these lots and adding pictures of them. Just one thing, though; please try to remember to add licensing information to the images you upload. Dharden (talk) 04:01, September 2, 2012 (UTC)

OK. Some of the lot images haven't been, but I think we all forget to do it sometimes, and it's easy enough to fix. BTW, there's no Unleashed version of Downtown lots except for pet-related stuff. What seems to happen is that Unleashed, Superstar, and Makin' Magic all affect the Downtown lots so they appear as they would if House Party wasn't installed. My guess is that Unleashed and later EPs somehow "prep" the game so that Downtown and Vacation Island lots can appear with pet stuff, which would explain why it often doesn't appear unless Unleashed or later is installed before Hot Date and Vacation. If I'm right about that, it would seem that the default Downtown lots can either have pet stuff or be "prepped" for it or can have House Party stuff, but not both. Licensing Images

Hi there, I've noticed that some of the images that you have uploaded did not have any form of license or categorisation. I have added a license and a category to your images but in the future, you should do it yourself. The arrow shows where the licensing menu is on the upload screen, so you can easily scroll down and pick an appropriate license for that image. If for some reason clicking on the license doesn't work, hover over a tab on the drop down and copy exactly what comes up into the description box. Thanks! I see that for one of your edits, its summary was "I guess I'll just have to add the time manually then". Actually, you don't. In your signature template, I think you typed ~~~~. For the time alone and no signature, type ~~~~~ instead on the template. So just do what you did, just add another tilde at the end. Also, for just the signature and no time, type ~~~.
