RE: Fanon cleanup[edit source]

Hi.

The {{Fanon-cleanup}} tag is added to fanon that isn't of very good quality and have significant room for improvement. Right now, looking over your fanon, it looks like there's room for improvement, so you should work on your fanon and add some more content to it. If you feel that the issues have been resolved, you may remove the cleanup tag yourself. If it's still not of good quality, however, another user may decide to add it again.

Hope this helps, —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 14:56, March 18, 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for the help. I have removed the tag now. FanofGame (talk) 14:59, March 18, 2017 (UTC)

Not adding {{Property}} tags to fanon pages[edit source]

Hello, and thank you for your recent contributions. I noticed that you have created a Fanon page that didn't have a {{Property}} template on it, such as Fanon:Alia Zhang (Fanofgame). This template provides a link to your userpage, attributing your fanon to you, and advises other editors to refrain from making major edits your fanon page. You can add this template easily by inserting {{subst:Property template adder}} to the top of your fanon page, which will automatically turn into a working {{Property}} template when you publish your changes. If you have any questions, please leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 21:26, April 26, 2017 (UTC)

RE: Infoboxes[edit source]

Hi.

Infoboxes are a bit tricky to add at first, and they require some trial and error. However, the end result tends to look really nice.

Firstly, though, what kind of infoboxes would you like? Would you like to make infoboxes for Sims? Infoboxes for lots? Infoboxes for neighbourhoods/worlds? Infoboxes for episodes/stories?

First off, I would love one for stories. GamerBoy (talk) 10:54, July 16, 2017 (UTC)

You can use {{Fan fiction}} to do the trick. The syntax for using the template, according to the template documentation page, is:
{{Fan fiction
|image= image for article infobox
|name= name of article
|genre= genre of article
|creator= author's username
|rating= intended audience, e.g. G, PG, R, etc
|numberofchapters= number of chapters
|originalrun= how long the series was written for
|status= whether it is still being written
|preceded= story/chapter before
|proceeded= story/chapter after
}}
Example usage:
The Land of Bob

Name: The Land of Bob
Genre: Humour
Created by: John Doe
Rating: E
Number of chapters: 10

Production
Original run: January 1, 1970 – July 16, 2017
Status: Running

Chronology
Preceded by: The Land of Dane
Succeeded by: The Land of Bob II

|proceeded= The Land of Bob II
}}
You can replace the text in the parameters as needed. You can also simply leave certain fields blank if you don't want to use them. Feel free to experiment and use the Preview button or the sandbox to see which setup works for you. If you need help, feel free to ask me. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 16:22, July 16, 2017 (UTC)
