RE: Sim hobby categories

You've deleted my edits six times for no reason. The two characters I edited are Science hobby Sims, one of which I have played as an aged up Young Adult and Adult in numerous neighborhoods and the other of which I am currently playing in Uni right now. The Science Hobby page has a broken link and even though I am directly copying and pasting the page name into the edit screen, it is still linking to a blank page, so I am making a redirect in edits. Is there a special reason you are targeting my edits for deletion, or are you running a bot program that isn't working just like the links?

Fanon Sims with name changes

I will be having Sims that will have name changes sometime down the road. I'm not sure what is the best way to approach this. Do I rename their pages and images when they have a name change? Does this mean that I have to change all of the links, or would a redirect be best? Does that even work for images as well? If it were only a few pages, I wouldn't mind changing the links, but it looks like one Sim's name change will affect about 40 pages with multiple links and images. So that is why I am asking. That's good to know. My guess is if I am going to have several Sims that have name changes (probably due to marriages), then I should learn the two auto changes that you mentioned. I think when it does happen the first time, that I will just do the renaming and redirect because I am not sure how to do that yet. So I will let you know so that you can send your bot of it. Then I suspect that I will probably be ready to learn how to do the auto renaming after so I don't have to ask you to do it every time. -- Icemandeaf (talk) 13:59, June 4, 2015 (UTC)

Please can you help me?

Excuse me, but I have a question - well, two questions. All of those fanon pages and canon pages look so...professional with the infoboxes and mini pictures like the heart for 'Lovers' and I was wondering how to make those infoboxes and mini pictures. I was planning to make girl twins, but I don't know how to make the sign for 'Twin Sister' and other signs like that. Also, every time I try to use the template on http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Sim3 it seems incomplete, and it doesn't look right at all. Hello k6, I didn't modify anything. The only thing I did was placing a talkheader. But I don't know why it says that I modified the message because I didn't... And it says that LiRBot placed a talkheader, but for some reason it didn't show up. Sims 4 Lots

Hi K6ka, its UltraGamingKid. I was going through TS4 updating the community lots when I realized that Rattlesnake Juice is the only lot with its own page. None of the others have a page associated. Do you think that's unnecessary?

There are also a few lot pages that should merge.

• Nightclub into Club?
• National Park into Park?
• Museum into Art Gallery?

The lots have very similar roles so I think its unnecessary to have separate pages for these. Do you agree?

Tagging revision that removes categories and interwiki links

Do you think it's possible to make an abuse filter that tags revision which removes categories and interwiki links? I think that using VisualEditor occasionally removes these by accident. When I make minor edits, it's only because I want to have enough edits. Sometimes I make a page or make a major improvement to pages. For example adding the descriptions at the Tech Guru page. Help for a template (if possible):

This doesn't go for my first fanon, only the second. Is there an error in any of the templates that contain deceased family members for Leviathan Arlington and Allison Richardson? In the family member section they're family members have perished due to zombie attacks. I put deceased  or both deceased  in parenthesis, but it says it on their templates. Template help

Hi k6. I'm creating a new template called Template:Relation-nav. Basically, how it's supposed to work is that it's meant to list all immediate members of a Sim's family (ie. parents, siblings, spouse and children). However, I have trouble trying to realise my designs. It looks pretty functional at first glance but when you actually test it it goes all wonky and weird. I've been trying to figure out for the past two hours what's wrong with it and how to fix it, but I've completely run out of ideas at this point. I could use a fresh mind to take a look at it (seeing as you're pretty proficient in wikicode, I decided to come to you), so when you can spare the time, could you please check it out and if possible try to fix it? Misdemeanor Family?

Hello, K6. Back during the summer while The Sims Bustin' Out, characters from Continue Mode (please believe me on this), have visited Recreational Free Street 1. They aren't like Mimi or Dudley Landgraab (for example), just my character and her husband. Do you think you might know a cause for that? Hey K6: I hate to say this, but while I was still on chat before leaving the room at 8:56 pm, there was a user with a cat-like fish as the avatar on a private chat room between me and Ooppdecks. Confused about edit

Hi, you recently put back a link on the Player Challenges page (link), linking to the wayback machine version of the removed link. However, as far as I can tell, while the thread itself is indeed cached on the wayback machine, none of the actual challenges seem to be. Unless I'm missing something, this seems to me to be somewhat useless as far as resources go. It's me, Imasexysimlover, long time no see :P However I can't log in because after my computer repair, all data on the PC was gone from files on all drives to internet stuff including passwords to everything, and my password got lost with it. Question about Range blocking

I see you've recently range blocked an IP range. I think I may have tried that in the past, but only for testing purposes, because I've never really known enough about range blocking to try it on a large scale wiki like The Sims Wiki.

How do you know what's the IP range of certain IP addresses, and what's not their IP range? I've noticed that they often end in the same numbers and periods ".0.0/16", but I've also noticed that that's not always the case.
