Issue with The Sims 3 Pets

I am playing sims 3 pets on xbox 360 and cant unlock the creative spirit challenge Architect -Remodel the town by edit all purchasable lots I have unlocked all houses and edited them aswell I have deleted my save files and started a new game over and over but it still wont unlock or tell me how much % I have done. What Happened?

Update regarding C.Syde

Hey there. Since I saw that C.Syde was dealing with imposters here, I wanted to give you a heads up another user called User:C.Syde67 recently attempted to impersonate him. As I have local checkuser rights, I can say this isn't the same user that was being the "69" version, so I do not know if he simply saw the situation on our wiki and tried to get C.Syde in to more trouble there, or if he actually happens to know the other impersonator. RE: Mannequin

I'm not sure what you mean by "no pages link to this page", since the info-boxes of fanon Mannequin Sims still link there. So now instead of linking directly to the Mannequin (The Sims 2) page, it links to the disambiguation. So it's still a concern, is it not? It concerns me anyway. Unfair Block

Hi, K6ka.

I was recently blocked by CSyde for one day. I felt that the block was unfair and was made, not because of misconduct, but because of a harboured grudge.

Why do I say that? My first contribution to this wiki was when I revived an old thread with no malicious intent. Then, CSyde gave me a warning and removed the replies. Seeing this removal as unnecessary and essentially a form of censorship, I restored the thread, but accepted the warning.

Suddenly, I was blocked.  I then decided to appeal and posted a ban appeal on C.Syde's wall, which can be found here. However, he deleted the thread. Later, I was told by multiple Community Central users, many of whom were completely oblivious about the situation, that admins can do anything they want and I had no right to complain.

Admins can do whatever they want? This may be true. Sure, admins might be technically free to do whatever they want, but should admins be able to do what they want? Shouldn't an admin act for the good of the wiki and for justice?

Indeed, this complaint is not about my ban, nor about CSyde. It is a complaint about the justice system on this wiki.

Were you aware of my ban before now? Were any admins other than CSyde aware of it? If so, did they consider its fairness? Did they do anything to fix it?

There is a reason most wikis have more than one admin; it is to ensure that rulings and big decisions are made with collaboration. But we are not making the most of this diversity in admins. We need to make sure that users are given a voice- that decisions are not just built upon the bureaucratic ideas of one person.

Even in small matters, such as in one-day blocks, we need to make sure that more than one admin knows about the decisions made and approves of them.

The short-term solution to my unfair block? Investigate whether CSyde made the right decision. The long-term solution? Create a new system wherein at least two admins are made aware of all blocks and all promotions and all processes on the wiki.

I'll end with a quote from Frederick Douglass.

“Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe.”

Stuck bed

I have no clue if I'm asking the question in the correct place. Forgive me if I'm wrong for posting here.

I have "The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection". I have a bed that I want to remove.  It's a double bed, & My married sims can't use it at the same time. I have the same style bed in another room that both can use at the same time, & works fine. When I try to remove it, or move it, it says the bed is in use, & it's not. This problem started when the wife sims saw the husband sims getting too active with the maid, & wouldn't let the husband sleep in the bed with her. She's not mad any more, & they sleep in the other bed together fine. Do you know a way to resolve this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Your signature

Okay, I've decided I'm going to switch between the two signatures every so often, until I decide to just stick to the one I've been using for the past few months. I am aware that most people probably wouldn't care about such a subtle difference. My original intention was to have the template that I've been using to fetch my signature randomly choose which signature to use, but then I found that it fetched both signatures, as the choose and option tags didn't work for this sort of thing, so I've changed it so that only one signature is being used, but then I will just go back to using the first of the two signatures that I'm using. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 00:58, December 23, 2016 (UTC)

Censorship

Hi, K6ka.

C.Syde65 recently removed a reply that I made to a thread from his archive, as can be seen here. I undid his edit, as I saw it as an inappropriate attempt at censorship. He then reverted my edit and protected the page. He is clearly abusing his powers to hide a part of the past that makes him uncomfortable. This should not be tolerated.

Can you deal with the situation by talking to C.Syde65 about this and restoring the reply that he removed?

Ditto Creeper Bot

Not sure if this changes anything, but despite the user's username, they aren't a bot, though it's pretty obvious how they came to be mistaken as such. Although I don't know the user very well, I know that they are a user on certain wikis, and they've also been on CCC and their behaviour is nothing like a bot. Question regarding TS2

I have a question related to getting some NPCs to move in with a playable household in The Sims 2. So, I was trying to get a cow mascot to follow with the "Propose-Move In" option, but every time I do, the action simply disappears, and the cow will not move into the household.

What I wanted to try out is, making the cow selectable via "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true", getting her to use the computer and "find own place" so that she can be a playable character. Alternatively, I've also thought about tweaking some things in SimsPE, where she'll be with a playable household. But I'm not sure if either of these will cause some sort of game corruption, or if the game will automatically make another cow mascot after these bypasses. Would you happen to know if doing either one of these things are safe for TS2?

Now, I am well aware that adult sims outside of college can get a cow or llama mascot to move into the real world with the "Propose-Move In" option. But the thing was, I wanted the cow to stay in college and graduate. However, I will use this method if it's my last option.

Oh, I'm well aware that the mascots are overall safe to play as. I just wanted to know whether or not it was safe to make them selectable and use the computer or newspaper to find their own place, since they're not officially part of the household that I'm currently playing. As far as I'm concerned, making them selectable and saving the household like that will not actually add them to that household, and does not sound safe.

Template:Object position changed?

Hi.

The template itself is fine, and it works without problems on other pages. The problem you were seeing occurred on the Bathtub page; this happens because {{Object}} is a very complex template, and requires a lot of processing power to maintain itself. The MediaWiki software has technical limits that prevent pages from becoming too complicated, as very complex pages take a long time to parse, and use up a lot of server resources.

In simple terms, the template was used too many times on the page, making the page very complex and resource-intensive for the parser to render. The specific limit that was hit was the "Preprocessor node count", which measures how complex the page is. When this limit was exceeded, the parser simply stopped processing the rest of the page, inserting "Node-count limit exceeded" messages into the areas where it was supposed to parse information.

If you right-click on a page and select "View page source", you can find an HTML comment that has these technical limits, and how close the page was to hitting those limits. For the problematic revision in question, here's the report:

Note how the "Preprocessor node count" was at 300892, when the limit was 300000. When the page exceeded this limit, that's when the page broke as the parser refused to handle any more data.

The solution to this problem is to not use so many {{Object}} templates, or revise {{Object}} so that it's less complex. This is not the first time we've encountered this error, and you can see how it was solved on pages like Television and Bar (object).

New Template for Jobs

Regarding the NPC edit

I am aware that once a Sim is dead, there is no one not even the computer controlling it, but still only a computer player can play as the NPC. Isn't that the the definiton of NPC after all?

Enable Discussions?

Hi there K6ka! I noticed that your community was not yet using Discussions, our Forum feature replacement we developed for our communities last year. We realize your community does not currently use Special:Forums but please consider allowing us to enable Discussions anyway, as it provides more benefits to your community than it's predecessor. We have already switched all new communities to Discussions and are manually enabling it on established communities who are interested in having the feature available for their users.

Discussions is a feature that users can use to post questions, thoughts, images, links and even videos. They can upvote posts and even share them on social media. Users can edit their posts for the first 24 hours, but Admins and Moderators can edit posts anytime. Users can report posts they feel do not comply with our guidelines, or that of the community. Admins and Moderators can remove them. We give you the tools you need to monitor reported posts and users that report them. Since the introduction of Discussions, we have seen a pretty big increase in community interaction. You can find more information on Discussions here.

Let me know if your community would like to have Discussions enabled on the community and the app. I would be happy to take care of it for you. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. Your comment there made absolutely no sense. If, by "Fanon", you mean "FANDOM", you should be aware that Staff don't intervene in issues and they will simply ask you to talk to the local administrators. That is what you are doing right now, and I have already given you my reasoning as to why I have reverted your edit on your talk page. Instead you are doing nothing but threatening me. Is that how you get issues resolved? If you think it is, then I am afraid that you have completely misunderstood Christian doctrine. But that is besides the point. Galsh11, I'm sure that you are frustrated over your edits being reverted. I have had my edits reverted and people disagree with me before as well. Vandalizing my userpage ([1] [2] [3]) however is not how you resolve disputes, and in fact will not garner you any support and could simply get you blocked by another administrator. I understand your frustration, but this is a wiki and because a lot of other people edit it as well, everyone has differing opinions and it's important that we keep a cool head and discuss issues in a civil and polite tone. Hoping my work goes to trash isn't being civil and actually damages the collaborative spirit of a wiki more than disagreeing with someone else's changes. If you would like to discuss with me over why you think your changes were correct, here's another chance to do so. Requesting removal of rights

Hey K6, I hope you're well! I am messaging you to ask if you, as a bureaucrat, would be able to remove my administration rights. As is very clear from my contributions list, I have been very very inactive and I simply do not have time to make consistent edits nor monitor others anymore, so I feel as if these rights are wasted on me.
