I tried looking at the code, but it looked like a garbled mess... not that it doesn't always look like a garbled mess, but usually I can figure out what it means. You're probably right about the expert thing.

Well who knows. However, with 5 revisions rollbacked, the coding mistake must have happened a long time ago. I don't know what to do. Fortunately, that is not a high-traffic page.

Do you have rollback rights? Me, having, used them to quicklu undo yours (had to :D) and the IPs edits and still the page was messed up. So then I rollbacked another 5 older edits, and still the page was messed up. I srsly don't know what to believe. - JEA13 ^[iTalk] 19:35, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Rollback is not an ordinary right. You request them from an admin, with some evidence that you are a good editor.

I have fixed the Military page. An anonymous user had removed some of the table code (as well as added 'mmmmmmm's). The easiest way to revert vandalism is to use the undo function on the history page. Using the radio buttons and then compare version you can undo multiple edits. --a_morris (talk) 21:44, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Okay, cool. Have you played The Sims 2: Pets (console) by any chance? It seems no one has...or at least I'm getting that impression because it is left out of like every page describing pretty much anything, ahah. The characters from it don't even have their own pages on here... Anyway, the reason I'm asking is because you said you've owned like every expansion so I thought there might be hope. xD I need to find somebody because I think that one of the characters from it named Buck Oakley has some relation with Buck Broke but this apparently has never been considered since no one on here has played the game. xD I think it's a very valid possibility... When I saw the thing that said I have new messages I instantly was scraed SCARED for some reason thinking that I must have messed up some article and got a warning. LOL. Anyways, I shall rant since I have no idea what to say. Sarcasm is spelt so weird!I thought it would've been spelt sarcasim but then Google Chrome underlined it so I figured it was spelt wrong and looked it up on Google, haha. Google Chrome is underlining SPELT. I don't believe I spelt spelt wrong, I guess I have to go back to school from winter break. Oh well, I shall be returning to school tomorrow so then I guess my name won't be floating around this wiki as much, considering I usually spend most of my day on the computer (usually on either Sims 2, updating my Sims 3 story, or on this wiki) with my mom saying "Let's go for a walk!" and me saying "NO!". Hahaa. :D

Bleeh My daddy is the richest man in all of Belladonna Cove! Just realized I spelt scared wrong, yet Google Chrome didn't underline it, oh well. Maybe it actually did, but I didn't see it. Anyways, this is something that happened to me, once Yvette Grisby (a Riverview Sim)'s page was up for deletion, and I wasn't sure what to do so I removed the request for deletion and cleaned it up. Nobody has noticed hahaa. Chrome is actually my favourite browser because I like the tab thing, LOL. I have Firefox on my dumb computer that doesn't work with my new router that I have to have for my laptop. I'm not sure why it doesn't work, because it works fine with my laptop. It doesn't work with my iPod Touch or Wii either though. I'm a little scared to add Firefox to my laptop, because even though it's brand new I'm using a lot of it's memory. I have The Sims 3, The Sims 3 World Adventures, mountain- loads of custom content, etc. on my laptop. I hope it can handle it , it should be happy I didn't put my Sims 2 games on it! :D. I'm going to be on this wiki a lot, I would probably be able to find time for the internet even if I was disabled haha :D. You're winter break is super long! Our winter break started the Monday before Christmas. It's 2 weeks long. Do you go to university/ college or something? My mom is got a month off of school and she's going to the University Of Manitoba. Not sure if you know where that is but Manitoba is a provence in Canada :D. I go to elementry school (at least for Canada, I'm in grade 6) except everybody thinks I'm 20 years old because of my height (5'5) and my personality (I act like I'm a mature 30 year old for some reason...). :D Happy after New Years! :D

I'm sort of in between a social butterfly and a loner, because I prefer to be by myself, but I don't mind interacting with those strange things that are called "Humans". It's good you know where Manitoba is! I've gone to USA twice, and out of 20 of the people I spoke with 14 never heard of Manitoba. I will not be editing as much, because my school's science fair is coming up, and my partner and I still need to make our speech. The reason why it's difficult is that everything must be in French, considering we go to an all- French school. :D

The Sims Project

Separate articles for all Cars

I agree. Each type of car does not need a separate article. The information should be merged with Car and maybe the family articles mentioned and the stubs should redirect to Car. It actually was pretty hard but I eventually got the hang of it. Though, you usually see cars bumping into houses in my world hahaa :D.

I actually have thought of uploading my world, but I don't want others to say that they made it, so I will probably eventually upload it to the exchange. It's true, a lot of the neighborhoods on the exchange are garbage! That's why EA shouldn't have made the tool so hard to use. You actually have to go in the game to add buildings and such which is a huge inconvience. Though, I have actually gotten the hang of the tool! I actually like the EA neighborhoods more because then (unless my town is small like Mikia Island) it's difficult to make all the houses. That's why I like getting houses from Mod The Sims :D.

Bleeh My daddy is the richest man in all of Belladonna Cove! Well, I actually haven't been very busy with them because of you and ArchieAndrewfan3001's talkboxes I have learned to make them quickly. I can imagine that! If I wasn't on the wiki for a couple of days I would imagine myself forgetting how to use talkboxes. And to answer your question, everything is going great for me! Besides the fact WiFi isn't working on my iPod Touch or that I accidently deleted all my music... :D

Bleeh My daddy is the richest man in all of Belladonna Cove! Actually you can go to "Community", "Talkboxes", then scroll down where it will have some of the images and a link to all of them. That's where they are. :D I actually deleted my music on my iPod, luckily not my computer. I had my iPod synced with my old computer and it asked me if I wanted to erase the songs on there and sync or cancel. I chose the first one and it managed to erase all my songs but said it didn't have enough room for the ones I was trying to sync. So I reset my iPod and it eventually worked :D. iPod's are really expensive! I got my iPod for my birthday but my mom made me pay for haft of it :

Trait templates

Hey there. If you're doing traits, be sure to include the templates at the bottom. There's a specific template for each type of trait eg. {{Lifestyle (traits)}}. Just trying to help you save some trouble :) Duskey(talk)(blog) 04:12, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

One last thing: You don't seem to use {{clrl}} on the trait pages. I just did it on Adventurous, it stops the line at 'Attributes' to look all funky. The layout should be similar to this:

Tips on templates

When I fiddles with my first template Template:Patch I learned that you should always test it on user pages first and not add categories until the end. I also helps to make the /doc page first in my experience. A quick brainstorm of what information exactly you're gonna put in the template and how you'll structure it before beginning is good advice too. Checking to see if you can make it look like other templates aswell would be sweet. I found Template:Object to be very useful as an example. If you're making info boxes you should probably try and make it look like those. If you have any questions you're welcome to spam my talk page. Re: CLRR

You must have a wider monitor than I do. I couldn't afford a new monitor when I had to replace my computer, so I'm still using a 16:9 CRT. I also run at 800x600 because it's much easier on my no-longer-young eyes. Anyway, it was a stopgap until there was enough content to push the table and header down past the infobox. I think I spotted the problem, or at least a problem, with the edits Monkeysandmyths has been making to Player Stories pages. The asterisks are being moved away from the left-hand margins, so they're being read as asterisks rather than wikicode for bullet points, and that's affecting the formatting. I also started {{Countdown}}. It's supposed to be a stripped down version so you only get the numbers. This way you can insert it in and where you want. It's still under development as I'm not quite sure about which timezones it accepts. PST (Pacific Standard Time - North Americs) and UTC seems to work. Deletion

With the introduction of Daylight Saving time (or 'Summer Time'), matters are complicated as times in participating areas are an hour ahead of 'standard time'. So, where the Eastern time zone is typically 5 hours behind UTC (if it's 5:00 pm at Greenwich, it's only Noon in New York), during Daylight Saving (early March to early November), this is an hour shorter (4 hours behind)

For North American users, I will be testing all 6 United States time zones, as well as the Canadian 'Atlantic Time Zone' during the period of daylight saving time - September 15th. To complicate matters, the state of Hawaii, which is an hour behind Alaska during standard time, is at the same time as Alaska during daylight saving, since Hawaii doesn't follow the practice. Therefore, the zones being tested are:

UTC -3 -- Atlantic Daylight Time (ADT)

UTC -4 -- Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)

UTC -5 -- Central Daylight Time (CDT)

UTC -6 -- Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)

UTC -7 -- Pacific Daylight Time (PDT)

UTC -8 -- Alaska Daylight Time (AKDT)

UTC -9 -- Hawaii Aleutian Standard Time (HAST)

UTC-0 -- Coordinated Universal Time (Greenwich time) (UTC)

UTC+1 -- Central European Time (CET) / UTC+2 -- Central European Summer Time (CEST)

Glad to hear it. First priority is basically just to discuss the layout of the base template in manual of style talk. The more feedback and user comments we get, the better, though truth be told, I only see about 5-6 people interested in site maintenance and even we can't be everywhere at once.
