I've just saw the Community Update you published, About Generations, I was really surprised and i really thought that the rumored EP was really confirmed along with Unleashed because of the "COVER ART" and the Trailer.

But it's okay for me even though the page i edited was re-directed or deleted.

The Administrator Business

About that "inactive" Administrator thing, I am sort of going to "retire" from the world of The Sims Wiki since The Sims 3 is all the rage these days and I have no interest in playing it. So, how does this thing work anyway? I haven't been following the recent updates since this Wiki was more than it was when I first joined. This Wiki is not quiet anymore, it's filled with creative contributors editing this and that off the top of the wall. And perhaps, it is my time to retire. I'll still be active in other Wikis, though. However, I shall memorize this Wiki very fondly :) Bayoubash 09:10, March 23, 2011 (UTC)

Main page

According to a_morris due to TSW is spotlighted, the main page should be semi protected instead. I understand it is an extremely important page, but I've read her reasons when putting the main page into semi protected state. Glitches

HI! I just have a question...

Well, I think you're playing The Sims 3, and I would like to buy it (and expansion packs), but I saw on some videos that there are so many glitches. I'm not quite sure are they "serious" glitches or just something that happens rarely. So my question is ...can you tell me are there so many glitches?

Offensive

Hey dude. Don't see this as "admin delete waring", but I really think it's better to delete the picture about what CookieMonster did. For now, it's just lying around here, and is visible for all users to see. I would have left it to stay if someone decided to do something about the incident and maybe other things, like reporting it to a bureaucrat, but nobody has. Again, this makes it more offensive the productive.

Apparently, and I think you may know, there are more then enough users who would like to start a discussion about these matters concerning CM888 to reach a fair solution. Thank you for these compliments :) The design was done mainly by Julien2660 (administrator on Les Sims Wiki) and he also created the Simbio templates. There is no problem, you can "borrow" our Simbio :D, some users have already started to work on it (here or here).

New Guy here with a question regarding Fanon

Dear Mr.Bureaucrat,

I am very new to the Sims Wiki and had read the Fanon policy. However, the question I had was not answered in the Fanon policy page: Is it acceptable for me to write a Fanon in the user page (as it will involve plenty of CAS and content) then move it to the Fanon namespace?

Spotlight Request

Hi. Right now spotlights are being approved and appearing within about 4-6 weeks. If I approve the wiki now the spotlight will be well before October. Do you still want me to do that? The wiki has a few uncategorized pages but seems otherwise like it meets the requirements. The Sims 3 Pets PC VS Console

On the 11th of this month I suggested that the Sims 3: Pets page be split into an article for Console and one for PC. This needs to happen as the page will eventually become too cluthered and info about both versions will become mixed together. We did it for The Sims 2: Pets (PC/Console) so it should happen here as well. On the talk page only two others have commented on splitting the article/page and they both support it. i would love to hear your feedback on this. Partially transparent page

Hi LIR. I saw your latest comments on the background discussion and wanted to provide you with some assistance. To utilize a content area that is "see-through but not completely invisible," refer to my personal css page that I just created. The opacity of the content page background using that css is 50%. (Copy/paste to your personal css to try it out.) If you want to try out other opacity levels, just replace the image URL (everything inside the parenthesis after "url") with those found at my personal test wiki. They're clearly marked at what level of opacity they are. To get the raw URL to be used on the css, just click the link and copy/paste. Hope that helps. I just previewed what the mosaic would look like on the header. I'll definitely need to make a couple changes to it so that it works well in that space. What I'm thinking is to (1) "soften" the image so that it isn't so prominent and distracting, probably by adjusting the brightness/contrast, and (2) shrink the mosaic a bit so that more of the faces are seen. Go ahead and try it out yourself, then tell me if you think my suggestion for tweaking the mosaic sounds good.
