I have noticed that you're creating articles on this wiki, and thanks for doing so, but you could help more on those articles, considering that you're onr of few editors on here who has console versions, so why don't you put more info about sims and families on its pages, because you're just creating stubs with 1 or 2 sentences and some template information misses, could you be more careful when creating articles about things which few people know about? Newbie family[edit source]
Could you please explain why you reverted my edit? The description of "Buddy" was unencyclopedic. Brandi is a feminine version of Brandon as well as a possible reference to liquor. Dash characters look much better than "--". The paragraph I removed was badly worded and mostly redundant. It's already mentioned in the article that the Newbies are the tutorial family, and it's quite a stretch to say Bob's name is related to his fame among Sims players: to most people it's just a generic male given name. --Anz 21:44, January 30, 2011 (UTC)
Okay, let's take a look at the paragraph in detail:
The Newbie family was the one used in The Sims and Pets for consoles by "novice and inexperienced" users of the Sims.
This sentence, while correct, has very little substance, and is awkwardly worded. It's already said in article that it the Newbies are the tutorial family.
When the player first begins the game, they are convinced by the game to go to the Newbie household.
Again, awkward wording. "Convinced by the game"? Regardless of that, every game with a tutorial convinces the player to follow it.
It was the tutorial family of the game.
Wow, never would have guessed.
Bob's name fits, seeing as he had fame since every novice Sims player eventually played him (that is, if they followed the tutorial and the arrow pointing toward the Newbie lot)
Enormous run-on sentence. And how is this information useful? It's really over-analysing to say that Bob's name is related to his fame among Sim players.
Mainly, this family has been added so that players could relate to The Sims.

I also can't see how the user vandalised Dominic Newlow. I have the game myself and Doctor Dominion really did all those things. The one about Circe Beaker is revealed when she says: "I don't know, when I am close to Doctor Dominic Newlow I feel like a little worker ant or something" to the player's sim.
