You will probably want to check out The Sims Wiki:Fanon Creation instead, which tells you how to create your own fanon pages correctly and some basics on how to make it look good. Creating fanon in the wrong namespace[edit source]
Hello, I'm K6ka. It appears that you have created fanon articles in the canon namespace. The Sims Wiki organizes canon (things that exist in-game and were created by the official game developers) in the "Main" namespace, while it organizes fanon (things created by unofficial developers) in the "Fanon" namespace. Pages can be created in the fanon namespace by adding a "Fanon:" prefix to the title (For example, Fanon:Monty Goth). Alternatively, you can use the createbox at The Sims Wiki:Fanon Portal, which automatically does this for you. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message. Not adding {{Property}} to your fanons[edit source]
Hello, and thank you for your recent contributions. I noticed that you have created a fanon page that didn't have a {{Property}} template on it. This template provides a link to your userpage, attributing your fanon to you, and advises other editors to refrain from making major edits your fanon page. You can add this template easily by inserting {{subst:Property template adder}} to the top of your fanon page, which will automatically turn into a working {{Property}} template when you publish your changes. Deleting Fanon[edit source]
Hey! I saw that you created a page to get your fanon deleted. Since I'm not an admin I can't help you with that, but can you please write a message on the Administrators' noticeboard next time you have a request? If you would like to request for your fanon to be deleted, or if you have any requests that only an administrator can carry out, please post at the administrators' noticeboard or add {{speedydelete|Author request}} to your fanon pages. Hello. When you add content to talk pages and forums (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

Fanon:Cameron Diaz[edit source]
Hi there! I noticed your recent fanon, Fanon:Cameron Diaz, states that it was a Sim that someone else on the Internet had created. Please note that the creation of fanons on third-party subjects are limited by policy:
- The fanon author(s) must exceed the source material, expanding the original content with their own personal additions. Fanon articles that merely document third party creations in an encyclopedic fashion are not permitted.
- The original creator(s) of the source material must not prohibit its adaptation or use by others. For instance, fanon works about trademarked characters are generally prohibited unless the trademark holder permits fan fiction based on their work.
- Fanon on subjects created by Electronic Arts are permitted, provided that all the other wiki policies are followed.
If you are simply creating a page in the fanon namespace to detail them in a similar fashion to how our canon namespace details canon Sims, note that this is not permitted. Your fanon must contain some original content from you in order to be permitted.

- Hello :)
- saw you editing around here! welcome hahha. I was (once, lol) an experienced editor on this wiki and I decided to come back just to write about my legacy and I find that I can edit just fine, but something that has been puzzling me no end is the search button. Where is the search button for pages?? I can't seem to find it! If you could help a newbie like me, lol, I would be very much grateful!
