FeatEditor nomination

Hello! It appears that your nomination was not filled in correctly. Which doesn't matter, everyone makes mistakes! But let me show you how to fill in next time, as I also had trouble with these requests once. :)

It is filled in like this, when you're in edit mode:

===[[User 1]]===
*I nominate [[User 1]] --(your signature))

#--~~~~

What you did good, was adding your name and the name of the user that you nominated! But what you did wrong, was not removing the nowiki.

Nowiki is if you want to write down a template, or the name of an image, without that one showing up.

If you want your vote to be good, you have to remove the 2 boxes that say: #--~~~~, and fill the nominated username in like [[User:Beds|Beds]], and not [[Beds]], because a username has User: for it's name.

RE: Deletion nomination

Hello. I believe you're confusing "discussion", "debating", and "attacking" with each other. On The Sims Wiki, we resolve things by discussion. Discussion will not get you blocked -- the wiki revolves around discussion to achieve consensus, and it would make no sense to block users for discussion. When you discuss, be polite and do not express frustration or anger towards other users. In other words, do not attack other users. We direct comments towards actions, not people. Finally, it is okay to disagree with other users. Let me repeat that, it is okay to disagree with other users. Disagreements are inevitable and part of human nature. On The Sims Wiki, we discuss our disagreements and then work towards a conclusion that can solve the problem. The only time we consider blocking users is when people being attacking other users and not the arguments/topics/discussion points presented. Simply disagreeing with someone is not grounds for blocking -- that would be a severe misuse of administrative tools. A number of other wikis do enforce this sort of doctrine that "users cannot disagree with administrators", but we are not one of them.
