Property tag

Hey OoppDecks, I just wanted to let you know that whenever you create a new fanon, you have to tag it as your own, that way no one will edit your fanon. To do this, you just type {{Property|OoppDecks}} into the edit box and when you save your edit, your fanon will automatically be categorised into a category of your own fanon(s). Removing a certain userbox

Hello, I saw your userpage and I noticed you have a rollback userbox in your userpage. Please note that this userbox as well as the admin userbox are for those who are rollbackers and administrators in the wiki respectively. Though it is optional for rollbackers. Edit on Michael Bachelor

Thanks for adding the correct eye colour for Michael Bachelor in The Sims 2. I was going to do it myself in a day or two.

If it's possible however, do you think you could change it to "Light Blue" or "Dark Blue" (depending on which eye colour he has). I'm pretty sure it's dark blue eyes, but I'd have to re-check in-game just to be certain myself.

Just in-case you don't already know how to read the genetic codes in order to figure out what eye colour a Sim has, they can be found on this page.

If his genetic file is appearing blank in your copy of SimPE, you should be able to figure out his eye colour in-game or by extracting his appearance to BodyShop. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 04:01, September 18, 2014 (UTC)

I've just changed his eyes to dark blue on the page. If they turn out to be light blue, all one has to do is correct the information. Also your Michael Bachelor fanon page still says that his eyes are grey. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 04:32, September 18, 2014 (UTC)

Reply to your user blog

You could create a test hood and impregnate a Sim with PT's genetics, age the baby up and impregnate the baby with PT, age that baby up etc. until the other Sim's genetics die out and only PT's are left.

However nasolabial creases around the face tend to become ever so slightly more prominent each time genetics are passed down from one generation to the next. So he won't look identical to the default Pollination Technician, but the differences in the nasolabial creases would be so minor that you could only tell the difference by making him have the same UI portrait pose as the default.

It's all right. I probably would have made that mistake myself, had I not known about them having corrupted faces.

They are the same as the deceased Sims like Caliban Capp - they appear as if they have the "2nd face template", but if they are aged to something different they have their genetic templates. They have no eyebrows, and the eye colours they have in their default thumbnails are usually different from the eye colours they are meant to have.

Information regarding the subject can be found on this page. But I suppose they may need to have that information on their pages, to prevent people from questioning their glitchiness. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 08:57, October 13, 2014 (UTC)

Congratulations on your successful nomination for rollback! Thought I might give you a short introduction on the rollback tool.

Rollback is a feature of the MediaWiki software that runs many websites, namely Wikipedia and Wikia. It allows all consecutive edits made by one user to be undone in one click.

What rollback does. Rollback only works on the latest edit (current revision) in an article. If you click on rollback, it acts immediately. Instructing the server to perform rollback will revert all consecutive edits made by one user to the last revision not made by that user. For instance, if User A made 6 edits in a row to The Sims 2, and no one else edited after them, using rollback will revert all 6 of those edits to the last edit not made by User A.

When to use it. Because rollback does not allow for a custom edit summary, it should only be used for obvious vandalism. It should not be used to revert good faith edits or edits that have good intentions. If a good faith edit needs to be reverted, use the undo function or manually revert the edit and provide an explanation in the edit summary.

You can use rollback to:

• Revert obvious vandalism
• Revert your own edits (AKA self-reverting)
• Revert edits in your own userspace (e.g. your userpage or your user talk page)
• Revert a large amount of edits that are deemed unhelpful, such as a malfunctioning bot, as long as an explanation is posted somewhere, perhaps at the talk page of the bot.

What if I accidentally click it? It happens, because rollback works instantly. If you do accidentally rollback an edit you didn't intend to revert, just manually revert the edit and explain it was a mistake.

What else do I do after reverting vandalism? It's not strictly required, but it would be appropriate to warn the vandal on their user talk page. You can either use a hand-written warning or, now that you are a rollbacker, you can use the pre-made warning templates.

Alien Face Template in Create a Sim

I'm not sure whether you've had any luck with accessing the hidden alien face template, but in case you haven't, there's this mod that will make the alien face template available in Create a Sim. RE: Washdowncreek

I can't remember exactly "which" template I used to create the neighbourhood, but I think it was probably Viper Canyon. I won't know for sure, until I've re-used all the terrains at least once, to check. I replaced the default terrain picture of Washdowncreek that represents the neighbourhood, with one of my Washdowncreek storytelling images ages ago, so I can't just simply figure out which terrain I used, because I don't have the original terrain picture to represent Washdowncreek.

But I am pretty sure it was Viper Canyon that I used. I used all the lots and houses from the lots and houses bin, before I installed any expansion packs, so I no longer have the original copies. But none of my Sims actually use them, since I decided that all my Sims would use houses which I built myself. RE: Nervous Subject (Hidden)

I'm not sure exactly what templates the original Nervous uses, as the only indication of Nervous' existence is provided by Loki, Circe and Olive's memories, the hidden elder head-shot of the hidden Nervous, the Storytelling image that represents the Beaker family, the Unnerving day trailer, and possibly this image and that image.

I think the hidden Nervous uses the 1st face template for the nose. I'm not sure about any of the other facial features but they seem to be different from the ones used for the playable Nervous. Or at least the changes they made were different. For the hidden Nervous, I know that the ears, eyes, and nose are smaller, the jaw, chin and neck are fatter. The eyebrows, nose, and mouth are higher, and the eyebrows are more curved.

I know for sure that the Nervous in this image is a fraud, though I must admit the user that made him did a fair job. The replica of the hidden Nervous can be downloaded - here - but don't click it unless you want to download it.

However like I said, the downloadable replica of the hidden Nervous is a fake. Differences from the true hidden Nervous include larger ears, eyes and nose, a wider jaw, and lower eyes, nose and mouth. Comparing this downloadable clone to the playable Nervous indicates that this downloadable clone was edited using the facial structure of the playable Nervous as a starting point.

So the downloadable Nervous which I have downloaded myself, is basically an edited version of the playable Nervous, and is not the true version of the hidden Nervous. At some point, I will try and create my own replica of the hidden Nervous, but it will be very difficult as I am unsure exactly which templates his facial features use. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 05:38, October 16, 2015 (UTC)

I didn't get the chance to be here as much as I was capable to few months ago since now there's school, and school means exams, and exams mean no much time to waste, and I haven't played Sims in a.... *counts on fingers*, 2 months and I've almost forgot source writing... So what have you been up to lately? I've seen you became a youtuber :D (EDIT: Oooops, epic fail. You were since 2012.......) I've already subscribed, there are super cool videos there like the intros you make, and and the real Justin Bieber XD oh that cracked me up XD And I also would like to see more intros that you uploaded ( Where did you get them :O ), the last time I've seen the 1996 Hulk was looooong ago around the mid 2000s, I don't have a lot of interest in Marvel (Is Hulk even a Marvel character? Uploading new versions of files

When uploading a new version of a file, please use the "Upload a new version" button, located on the file page under the "File History" tab, instead of uploading it under a new name. This helps reduce redundancy and saves administrators the work of having to delete the old file. If you upload a new version of the file this way, all usages of the file will automatically update, saving you the hassle of having to go to every page the file is being used and updating the links. Also, when uploading a new version of the file, the old versions are not lost and are instead archived in the file history, and can be viewed and restored at any time in the event of an error.
