Adding categories for deceased and divorced spouses might require splitting the spouse parameter in two, ex. spousename and spousestatus. I've just found ParserFunctions that may be able to accomplish the task without having to do that though.

Well, you left out the Monty family on the tree list. Good thing I play this game nearly all the time. By the way, I am getting prity annoing with Joethatblackguy with his (many) pages he created. He needs to stop before half of the wiki belongs to him. He has created pages for every Sim he plays with. (He needs to know there is a Fanon wiki).

Wolfman1293's block is almost over. Since I am not an admin (due to my bad spelling), I need someone to protect my pages while I am at school. I have five pages ready to be deleted. Take a look in the file for deletions and you'll find my former pages there. I don't need them anymore, and some were created by axerdent.

Joey just edited my votings without permission. Total vandelisom he did. I am so furious with him. Can you please get A morris to ban him after his revenge attacks? We gave him 24 hours and he did not even move them at all. He just vandelised my votings as an IP. I never want to talk to that troll again.

Hello. I am new to this this The Sims Wiki, but not new to The Sims. I came here looking for info on TS3, and I'm rather pleasantly surprised to find a lot of info already here. However, a lot of articles here contain info on multiple versions of The Sims, including TS1 to TS3, expansions, content packs, downloaded contents and spin-offs. The better organized articles have separate sections for different versions, but others just mention the version in-sentence, and yet others completely neglect to specify the version. Usually there would be other information to help guess the version, and the graphic quality difference between TS1 and TS2 also help quite a bit. But as TS3 is graphically not so different from TS2, and the explosion of the amount of info that will come with the new release, and the potential for confusion will surely skyrocket.
A system for labelling the versions is sorely needed. The labels should be applicable to both article text, article sections, template boxes and images. In any case it should be easy enough to use that people would actually use it.

Your idea about having Sims organized by Traits using the {{Simbio3}} is a good idea, but I don't think we should start on it until we have a better idea of what the traits are going to be. --a_morris (talk) 01:21, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
To add trait categories, we would need 5 trait parameters, i.e. trait1, trait2, trait3, trait4, trait5, with one trait per parameter. You don't need to use an if statement for each trait just use [[Category:{{{trait1}}} Sims]]. (Still test for namespace, though.) Tratit3, 4 and 5 would need to be optional as younger Sims would not need all five: {{ifeq:{{{trait3<includeonly>|</includeonly>}}}|||{{{trait3}}} <!-- Displays trait3. I'm sure we all do, but this is a wiki, and as an administrator, it is my job to set things right, for Joe is only human, and don't we all have our imperfections? Let's just convince him nicely to move his pages to The Sims Fanon Wiki. There is no need to be hostile, even if he is a hungry troll.
