Thanks for your congrats! Sarah Peasant's page kinda complete and informative of how you play the Sims. But there's not her casual outfit (only the one in Al Simhara). I personally put great importance on the appearance of the Sims... But anyway, it's a great page.

For now (not always), I play more with the Sims 2, and I was going to create a page of one of my Dortheimer (creating a page for all of them will be very long since there are many, many many of them), and in the Sims two, they are not evil (not possible).JM9193 17:55, February 25, 2011 (UTC)

Don't worry, there are many more gold digger stories in the family (there also are a very few good Sims). By the way, do you like the picture? Well, Rénata's page is almost over, since she reaches the end of her ghostly life. However there are many more evil Sims that are just as nasty as her.As for my favorite Dortheimer, this is some hard question. There are just too many! If I had to choose, I would tell it's Dorothée (I already talked about her earlier) or Clara's aunt Astrid. Sarah Peasant's casual outfit is much better than the previous one^^ I don't really like the foreign clothing from World Adventures (except for the french ones, for obvious reasons).

When viewing a pre-made family, just click on the "story" button, which looks like an open book. I believe the files themselves are in a sub-folder of the Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 folder called "Storytelling". (Of course, I have no idea of what the name would be in Portuguese.) As for the memories, this is not a bad idea, but this will be very very hard, since many are in the Sims 3; others wer eplayed two different times, and others are "lost" for many years. Well, the Dortheimer is a matriarcal family. They don't like having boys, and there are not many of them. In the Sims 2, they were pretty the same than the women. But they almost never married. In the Sims 3, they are not as evil as the women. You see, I don't like playing with men in the Sims, and they mostly are nice and careful (I don't like playing with toom any good Sims either^^). However, they are kinda unlucky and often suffer an untimely death.JM9193 12:47, March 13, 2011 (UTC)

Hi again! :3 Decided to follow you up on checking things out over here; I generally don't join older wiki's though because I find it a bit overwhelming to get started at them. However, I've made exceptions (like on The Dragon Age Wiki) so I suppose The Sims Wiki will be the next exception then, lol, once The Sims Medieval actually merges that is. I do got all the games anyway, so I won't be ailien to the sims concept outside medieval. ^^

I messed around with the Adventurous trait for a while since is one of the more complete information wise. The result I ended up with wasn't quite exact with what has been used for other traits on this wiki like I originally planned. But considering the traits are from different games I'm more concerned about how to display the medieval trait information in a best possible way than following standards set for the other sim games slavishly (though I try to stick to them as much as possible naturally). Let's call it a suggestion for now. I'll continue with the rest tomorrow or another day (might get too busy tomorrow), need some sleep now. ^^; Gives others time to growl about the design as well, lol. --ShadowTani (Talk) 00:11, March 29, 2011 (UTC)

Email

Hello there! I thought I should contact the entire admin team about this, since this is a little bit off-wiki but still, from what I and some contacted admins can see, an idea that could be beneficial for The Sims Wiki.

I am currently in the planning - almost creating - process of making an email account for The Sims Wiki. This account, while not needed extremely, could bring a large amount of positive things for the wiki.

Firstly, this is a smaller The Sims Wiki version of Special:Contact. Through this, we can send surveys to users about new features or ideas we implement. Do the users agree with a makeover of the Community Portal? Do the users want this policy to be added? What ideas do users have for the future?

Secondly, we can use this for more private, though still completely controlled, user reporting. If I see someone being rude to me and don't want to "look stupid" by reporting it to an admin, which some users do think, what do I do? I send an email through, and let an admin read it and check what's been going on. Note: This isn't a "I emailed first!" scenario, every user involved, included the sender, will be investigated.

Thirdly, and this is completely optional for users, they can "subscribe" to the newsletter. This will be where they allow us to send a monthly, if not bi-weekly, email, containing links to active votes and discussions, the Newsletter, open positions, new features, etc.

Now, I still have a lot of ideas on how to use this productively, but another reason I'm contacting all admins is to sort out something. I know that I may not be completely trusted by all of the admins to handle this alone so I am going to ask all admins who wish to join the project to say so on my talk page, and I will send the password to you once the email account is activated. Currently, I prefer as little users managing this account as possible, due to problems that may arise if all admins had access to the same account. I would appreciate only bureaucrats requesting the password if they like, but I still encourage admins to request it if they wish.

Please note that this account will not use my, or any other user's real account password, as that would be pretty dumb to hand out on a silver plate.

I hope you all read this and think about ideas and or reasons to oppose it.

In response to your question, I don't really care which sims I use. Some sims you sort of like more than other ones, and I only use the ones I like. Re:Layouts

I have noticed that too and have reported the bug to Wikia. To work around these problems you can copy the page content, delete the page, and create a new page with that content without the use of a layout. Hi! How are you? I didn't leave the wiki during the previous month, but I just bought a new game (Super smash bros Brawl), and I'm so totally into it that I almost forgot about the Sims ^^.

My cousin and his family are fine. They still are in France, and I'll see them soon ^^.

As for Tiara Dortheimer, I've effectively forgot about the "to be continued", and I'll quickly remove it. Glad you liked the new article by the way.

Unfortunately, I do not know many tings about Portugal. I never went there for now. I perhaps will I some time.

Except for some really old and obscure parts of the family (there are a few), some exceptions, like the murder mystery which is actualy one of the (simplified) scenarios I imagined (there are a few others, and two of them deal with a Sim neighborhood), and Sims "lost" before recreating the at another life stage (like Gisèle), I usually remember the main plot of my Sims' lives. That's true. I really prefer female Sims. I love to dress them with many colors, etc, and creating male Sims is a little more boring since men do not wear colorful and diverse clothes.

As for Dorothée and her daughter Magdala, I played with them more than with any other Sims. I created them many times (only in the Sims 2 for Magdala). You see, at the beginning, I did not plan to create one big legacy. I just kept the two original Sims, and played the two (especially Magdala) in different ways. Their bio's will probably be harder to write than the other's, but I think I can fare well into remembering everything. I'll just rearrange their different bios into one.

By the way, will you buy the Sims 3 Generations? It doesn't sound quite interesting for me. JM9193 20:49, May 2, 2011 (UTC)

Well, Astrid's life is "longer" than Pekoe's. As said on the article, Pekoe, like her three sisters was suggestible, but not evil. The brains of the operation was Astrid, who was also a great creiminal in Sunset Valley.

The aricle about Constance Garvouis is quite complete and interesting... As I said before, this is a nice starting for a great legacy!!

Oh! Now that I think about it, I effectively forgot something about Pekoe. This is what happened in Twinbrook as said on anna liza riddle's palyer stories (this one was actually amended: for example with Pekoe's personality. THIS story is not the exact thing that happened). Well, there's a misunderstanding. This was not the game that crashed, but the Computer. I had to restart the computer (and to change it twice). However, I agree that some glitches should be corrected (especially the one with the cemetery ghost that go away as soon as they appear).

Well, I'll write Astrid article soon, but not tonight, since I'm tired and school is back in two days (I've been in holiday for 2 weeks). Astrid is effectively a german name, but it's quite popular in France too. I do not care about the origins of my sims' names as long as I like tem. n my lgacy, there are french names, odf course, like Ginette or Marguerite, but there are also spanish (Sierra), english (Pelly, Bella, Magdala, etc), slavic (Irina), germans (Dagmar, Traudel,) or even "nordic" ones (Gundrun, Ingibjörg). There are also names I made up, like Pekoe (orange pekoe is a type of tea), Neptuna or Umbriel (a character in Pope's poem The rape of the lock and an uranusian satellite).

Well, Astrid was a ruthless, evil being, who also was very powerful, and very attractive. She kew how to manipulate people. She hates her father and was partially the cause of his death. No one knew anything about it, She still was very close to her sisters, especially the bookworm Ilona (who also has the evil trait, but didn't cause chaos around her). She moved to Sunset Valley with Ilona, and became a great criminal (evil branch), and at least three people died because of her. She was the instigator of Rémi's murder. Later, she would marry Yves Dortheimer and had a daughter with her, Umbriel who would later become a successfull busieswoman (something rather common in the family). She became ridiculously wealthy and bought the tudor house near the cliffs, becoming Agnes Crumplebottom's neighbor, the house that would be later given to a distant relative, Lily.

Astrid's husband lasted fairly longer than other Dortheimer's husbands, as he died in a fire as an elder (the fire also killed Umbriel's father in law). She was a nectar amator and build an immense cellar under her mansion. She survived to all of her sisters: the two last ones were er and Ilona. GG, you're a bit confused on this. When a Sim has only one infobox on their article, the image in that infobox can go up to 300px. When an article has several infoboxes, the image must be 235px. If you're talking about 201.1.209.150 (talk · contribs · editcount · block · modify rights · logs · block log), I'm not sure, though I was sorely tempted. I might have permanently blocked a registered user who did that as their initial act, but permanently blocking an IP is more drastic, especially since whatismyipaddress.com says this is a dynamic IP. Now I am 89% addicted to The Sims, so I am getting ideas from this archives. I am going to buy Generations because I am a collector and I just love every new addition to the game. I am also buying it for the new chemistry set and the ways to manipulate Sim Lifespam (that makes the game more realistic). Also, teens suck in The Sims 3, and I hope that Generations will make this much better, since my teen Sims are awful :(. Also, I wonder about the new death types and ghost colors, and it will be the perfect expansion pack alongside with Late Night to simulate my human life in the future, because it will add more family options. I also can't wait for Prom Night!

For example, I have been playing The Sims Bustin' Out lately and I can see clearly that clothes for females are more beautiful than the ones for males. The same happens with the hairstyles. But males have more elegance in this game due to several glitches (e.g. if the Sim is a female and sits down to play chess, she will sound like a male playing chess, and if a radio is switched to Techno, Mom (who is a female) will dance for hours or even days!) so I prefer not to choose. Also, in The Sims 3: Late Night, the muscle definition and the breast sliders were added, and females look amazing when using that slider, but when using the muscle definition one then... ewww! And males look awesome when using high muscle definition. But teen males completely suck when using default facial hair, since there is no stubble. By the way, my fanon is going to be something like PlumbBobs and Prejudice, but with an entirely different script about a secret formula that does something really ...interesting to people. I can't reveal more, otherwise the script will definately be stolen by someone! I am installing Generations soon and I can't wait!

But I did not enjoy anything else. My sister, however, loved it more than LN, that I enjoyed most. Serioulsy, TS3 Generations was fully dissapointing. But what really pissed me off was that it did not add another death type and I won't be able to make my cemetery better!

I admit, there is some things I like. I like the chemistry station, reminds me of the one in TS1. I used to use that to make mood enhancing potions to drink all the time when I wasn't very good at the game. I like the new cars that are shipped with the game, but I probably wouldn't use them - I have heaps of custom content, real-world cars. Sorry I've taken a bit to reply, but I've been busy in real life. Anyways, I don't really see the difference of the different types of parties. To this day, I have no idea of the difference between a party and a sports party in TS2, so I don't really care about another party type. As for the entertainers, I don't really care that much.
