Hidden Springs

Hi! I effectively NEED your help wit the articles. I have already checked every Sim in Hidden Springs and wrote their infos somewhere (btw, you'd perhaps noiced that every single NPC (not townies) don't have any trait), but there are just too much for me. Moreover, I began my studies, so this will take too much time. I still will need cofirmatin for NPC's names.

However, I think that the mentions on the pertridges articles "some players think" about the Cinderella are weird: the reference to the tale is SO obvious (words like "prince", the stepsisters, and cruel stepmother...) that one can acknowlege that the pertridges effectively are a parody of the tale.JM9193 21:54, August 27, 2011 (UTC)

Well, I think you know which ones are my favorites^^ As I stated before, I loooove evil Sims. And there's only one in the town. ^^ (Eunice Pertridge << and I also like her family, too) I also like Geneviève Colby. However, I regret the fact that there is so few deceased Sims. Well, you know, I don't play much with the premade Sims (I merely make them meet and befriend my Sims) Moreover, I disabled the story progression (new NPC's and sims who aged and have horrible clothes and newborns have awful names, etc... I hate those things ).

And speaking of NPC's, I could write all the names I listed on the Hidden Springs page, and you could correct the ones that couls be false (even if I doubt that even one coulb be french-only). What do you think? JM9193 19:14, August 29, 2011 (UTC)

Well, Barnacle Bay is a nice neighborhood. I love it as much (or even more) than Hidden Springs. It has two cemeteries, the NPC all have a bio and i personally love sea.

I don't think Hidden Springs has the lowest amount of living Sims, but the smallest amount of deceased Sims... So far, there are only 4 deceased people. Even less than in Bridgeport. And even if there are fewer Sims, they have better storeis than in Sunset Valley (the second worse neighborhood in my opinion). JM9193 09:17, August 31, 2011 (UTC)

Text interfering with template

Hey RoseGui. Here, you made a comment about the text cutting the template if there is no space present between the top of the page and the beginning of the article. Mmm, IE. I remember there was a similar issue for some browsers with templates like the Era one (which, however, has been exceptionally improved). Personal farewell

Hi Guilherme. I've retired from administrating and from the wiki, but I wanted to make sure I left you something before I went.

I am so proud of how you've become such a strong member of this community. Life state question

Wikia suggestion

So here is my idea. I have been watching some Grey's wikia page. I was hit by an idea. I saw that the pages with episodes under page main information have next and previous episode. Arrows or the episode name. So i was thinking why don't we add the same thing to the page with the games?

Example:

~The Sims 3 NEXT~ -> World Adventures

The Sims 3 <- ~World Adventures~ -> High End Loft Stuff

World Adventures <- ~High End Loft Stuff~ -> Ambitions

And so and so. :D

Marriage Icon

Hey Gui. I'm not sure if you are the admin who is responsible of pictures and templates, but maybe I should report this to you. This image is a poor in quality and size image from this one , but the former is widely used in SimBio template for married Sims. Is it possible to replace it with the latter? Categories

Hi RoseGui! I was just cleaning out some stubs about lots when I found that some lot categories are spelled as "Lots with 1 bdrms and 1.5 bths" and so on... Why are those categories called like that instead of "Lots with 1 bedroom and 1.5 bathroom"? Can I "move" those pages to correct categories? Thanks! Actually, all the info and the images I got for pet traits are from SimsVIP. I can only give you a link for the pet traits "captions", but info, I don't know. But still, if there's an Aggressive trait we all know what pets will do if they're aggressive. Anyway, thanks. I'll try to find more info about it. Hi, Rosegui! How've you been? Why are you hating Chemistry? That's one of my favorites things at school...

I've not been there during some time because of three things. I begun my Medical Studies, the new Mystery Case Files for the wii launched one week ago. Bu most of all, I had a big problemn with my computer and I had to restart from scratch. I lost everything -including my sims games and my pics. That's why I didn't add pics to the Hidden Springs NPCs pages I created two days ago. By the way, I also didn't create Ken Woodard page since I was missing nformations and I had no time yet to install the game...

Meanwhile, I've noticed a long time ago that the "Sims" category is sorted by First name, annd no longer by last name (I know, it's been here for a while). Don't you think it's a bad idea? Indeed this classification is no longer useful to properly spot the families. Moreover, 16 Sims per pages is too few... There are to much pages! What do you think? Orangutan

Actually RoseGui, an orangutan is a pet, just like cats and dogs are in The Sims 2: Pets. They're only featured in Castaway Stories. If you agree, can I add them to the pet life state template? Thanks! Vss2eip^{talk here} 19:18, October 1, 2011 (UTC)

Hi Rose, you are correct in the sense that you won't find that exact thumbnail in the game data. It isn't there, because I extracted Lyla's data and restored her appearance as to how it's supposed to look unglitched. I added makeup according to how her hidden elder thumbnail looked, but the overall facial structure is not my creation.

Sorry to butt in here, but I believe the image extraction is done via SimPE or its ts3 counterpart, Sim3PE. I have no idea how to use either of them though. The way I think Gui does it (correct me if I'm wrong) is by uploading the sims to thesims3.com, where she can find the headshot in the page detailing the content she uploaded. Hi Gui, I didn't know you had a new username. Gosh, I don't come here for a long time.

This summer my laptop was acting strange, making lots of noise untill a day which smoke started coming out of it. The repairer said the air fans were totally messed up. I was totally pissed because I lost my sim family (I had a copy of my documents in a pen so I didn't have to worry about that).

Right now, I've a new laptop and I plan to make the family again and also a fanon about them. I remember about your fanon articles, which I liked alot, and I wanted to ask you if you could reccomend me some help pages about fanon or give me advices.

I'll look into it. I've been playing 3 for only a couple months. But that's only because I played 2 for a few years, which I only discovered a few months before 3 was released. And I am in love with 3. I have this site as my load page on my browser, and had it like that for a while now. My next taskis to get featured on ts3. That was my pride and joy in ts2, trying to get featured. Luckily I did, by the skin of my teeth before all the focus w as moved to 3. I owe TheSimMan and Twiggers my gratitude for that. Destruction Page

Hi rose, i delete the Destruction page because it too minim info and i think because oh that it doesnt need its own page. destruction is similar like chew and scratch (for cat) on the sims 2 pets and when i looking for the chew and scratch page, it not exist. the chew or scratch page is never created because i think for the same reason. it doest have enough info, just like each hidden trait. Dude, don't worry about I won't post or near this website again. Put the information you see fit in since comes down to what YOU think the information should be. You guys have editted stuff that didn't have anything to do with speculation or incorrection. (Such as a link to a character) I notice that Jessica Talon's information was edited, but not Elvira and both had the same type of information in them. Idea for a contest

I had an idea for a contest but held back since I think recommendation would be good: contest for sims (Fanon or canon) who embodies one of the traits the most: (e.g. vote for the most insane sim ever to vote for the sim as the best embodiment of the trait, vote for the most bookish sim for the Bookworm trait, etc.)

There are currently as I am thinking of it only two constraints: no voting for one's own fanon sim (although one can nominate them: so I can't vote for (but can nominate) Kallisto Syrakousia for the Insane sim but can vote for example Pélagie Horsepurple), and the sim in question should have the trait: (for example, Vita Alto shouldn't be nominated for mean-spirited trait, since Vita doesn't have the trait)
