Not allowed to list info on un-released EP[edit source]

Hi, I just want to ask why are we not allowed to list any information about unreleased EPs? Not even after EA games has released information before the game's release we are not allowed to state them?

And I have another question, for the Magician article, I think its just fine to revise and re-arrange it a little. I mean we do know that they will appear the Showtime expansion and I haven't even added any new info in that page other than that. Not even information regarding what it does in the Sims 3: Showtime expansion.

So yeah I just wanted to ask.....thanks.

RE: Table[edit source]

Thank you, Gui. :) But I can't sleep all night thinking about improving this table better. Like you said, it's still controversial, isn't it? About the length, I think you're right if it's a bit longer than the original. But that happens because of 2 things: The older table uses smaller font, and you see it through history, making the reading pane wider. For me, it's okay, but are you sure you want me to make it smaller?
Actually, you can hover the image and check what skill is it. You can even click it to see the skill page. Is it not yet explicit? The first thing I do if I see no skill requirement cells but instead some images with numbers in it, I'll check it first. Nikel Talk 02:15, December 31, 2011 (UTC)

Celebrity Status[edit source]

Hi Gui! ^^ How have you been? Are you busy with your schoolwork? :o I want to say something about the celebrity status parameter. Since you can't decrease its font to fit 1 row, I think it's fine to enlarge back the fonts so it can fit 2 rows. Also, if the star images can't be larger, can it be aligned to centered-left? We can lend you helping hands on your wiki. :) That template is a complex template, and it contains many codes from other templates. It's hard to understand how it was made, and I'm not really sure if the original developers of the template would feel fine if you just copy it without permission. You will need good HTML and CSS knowledge to make such templates. There are some flashy things you could use, like Adobe Dreamweaver (I don't however own this software so I can't tell you if it would work, and it's also quite expensive). TDWT Ending[edit source]

Please help! Fanon gonna get deleted! :([edit source]

Hey there!

I am creating a fanon called A Pleasant Story and I have a quick question. At the top of the page, there is a template an admin has placed stating the page needs a cleanup. I only created it on 25 Feb 2012. I don't understand why it needs cleaning up even though I have read all of the fanon policies, rules etc.

Could you maybe nudge me in the right direction? It would be much appreciated. I have spent a lot of time on the first two chapters and it would be a shame to have them deleted. I would very much like to avoid this.

There is many reason fanon can be tagged, that is because the content/stories is too minim or the layout is still messy. In your fanon now, the layout of the fanon is messy so you need to tidy it up. if you need help, contact admin or another experienced user here to help you how to tidy it up. I have tidied it up by adding headlines to divide the story into sections, making it easier to read. However, I do recall having to leave while editing, so I published after a paragraph. After returning to the edit, I finished off and published it, however the changes I made weren't taking effect. The paragraph I had published had a cleanup tag on it. I had to re-do the editing. Since then, I have greatly improved the page, adding headlines and such. I think this may something to do with it- a very, very small paragraph which needed a great amount of cleanup whilst I was editing.

I'm just dropping by to create some pages of some Starlight Shores Sims ^^. However, I still have to work a lot for my first year of Medicine (which is driving me nuts even if I have a rather good ranking). But it's nice to come back to the wiki from time to time (even if I usually look around and do not edit). And by the way, I fear you'll have to create the page for Lunar Lakes townies without my help (as I'm too stingy to afford it: it's costing an arm and a leg!), of course if you bought it (I saw you were a fon of the alien neighborhood).

I believe I have, although it has been some times since I have read them. I personally found Sarah Peasant quite interesting, but then she was already featured. Guess that makes that a featured article no doubt. Isaac was quite interesting as well, but then my fav had to be either Alfred or Sarah. I personally thought Irina had great potential, but then I suppose she was an actual butler in game that you did not control directly.

Apparently I have a soft spot for insane techy folk, and Alfred has been the first fanon sim to be inappropriate (until Nova joined) on top, a point for uniqueness. :D

Hmm, who knows. Assuming that Isaac is still the patriarch, may I suggest something along the lines of Tartuffe? Make it so that the new character gains Isaac's trust, and tries to make out with either Marissa or Constance to a point where one of them tries to pull of a Lysistrata gambit on Isaac.
On a second thought, I could also suggest a less woohoo-focused path in which Alfred rebels and create his own faction, and maybe introduce some simbots: Simbots are seriously underrepresented in the fanon, and funny thing is that I had made at least 10 in my simming history and didn't add a single fanon simbot article to the cause and lost the chance of a first simbot article to Starmoonie. The implication is that Isaac won't trust outside sources and continue to believe the new interloper is a good guy. Unfortunately, the images I have is the moodlets without frame. :/ So I can't really help. Maybe this could give some hint: the file name is "uber prankster", "missed appointment", "free", "backache", "ditzy moment", "beneficial friend". I found the "Out of Sorts" moodlet image is between Generations images, and perhaps having a failed plastic surgery does have its moodlet. I also found some moodlets involving voodoo dolls from Showtime. Is voodoo featured there?

RoseGui is currently absent, so she can't reply your message. I'm not really sure about your issue, but isn't it caused by your own laptop? Maybe your laptop is broken or heated up too much? Have you tried using cooling pad to your laptop or something? Or does it happen only when you're playing The Sims 3 or also if you're using it for something else? Ahh, I personally dealt with sims that I didn't control by temporarily shifting active family to them and checking on their status (this is how I came up with the Demetria-Hypatia feud, as I was controlling the Alkmaionids & Lysistrata), and particularly taking note of the relationship levels. Partyzantka, I don't know what kind of policies you have on Simspedia but Vue vie's contributions show blatant disregard for our policies by vandalising someone else's userpage and edit warring. If you can show hard evidence this user didn't deserve to be blocked then the administrators will consider it but Vue vie's count of good faith edits is zero - I think that's compelling enough to warrant the 3 day block. Well, for Lucky Palms tere are two problems: first, and need to keep money for other games (Supernatural and 3ds games) . Secondly I have a problems that keeps me from logging in the Sims 3 site. I cannot buy anything even if I want to. That's pretty sad.

And for madame doom, I chose the name:

  • in reference of Madame Fate

Oh, I don't know if Marie-Soleil would be evil in the Sims 3. She does not want her costumers to meet lurid ends, she just likes to make them believe so, for fun. Even if It might sound cruel, she would be horrified if her predictions came true.

As for the family tree, first one should look at it in full resolution (I don't know if you did so or not). And many Dortheimer did not have children on the family tree. Some of them died (Océane, Luna) without any children, but some others are stockpile Sims I store for new neighborhoods. One example would be vanda dortheimer that I kept until Barncle Bay launched. And I know it's large, but I don't think it is really hard, are there are no remarriages, divorces, step children, etc. And the in-law families are not indicated, else it would really be unreadable.
