Need help? The Community Portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit. You may also try asking for help on the IRC channel, where some users may be able to help you!
Want someone to guide you along the way? Check out our user adoption program which is designed to help out new and possibly inexperienced users like yourself.
Spotted some vandalism? We have a team of administrators who will happily deal with vandalism when they see it. If you have found some vandalism from a user who hasn't been sanctioned, you can help by reporting it!
Please sign in every time you edit, so that we can recognize you!

Re: Marking as WIP[edit source]

That really all depends on where the page is being kept. If you're keeping the page in your own personal namespace (by naming it "User:Ultraworldwarrior/<name of page>") then you don't need to mark it as a work in progress. This might also be beneficial to do, if you don't think that the page you're working on is finished enough to be read by the general public yet, or if you want to work on the page without others interfering in your work. If, on the other hand, you have a good foundation for a page and would welcome outside assistance, I'd suggest you create the page and then add the appropriate {{Stub}} template. If you're making multiple changes to the same page (that isn't in your namespace) and want to prevent other people from editing it anyways, you could add {{In use}} to the top of the page - if you use this, make sure to fill in the parameters, so other users can tell who is working on the page and how long you've been working on it.

Any other questions or concerns, feel free to leave me a reply. Thanks! -- LostInRiverview talk · blog · contribs 05:34, March 8, 2018 (UTC)
