Vamsi Custer is one of the pre-made downtownies in The Sims 2: Nightlife. She can be made playable by befriending and asking her to move in, or by marrying her. Vamsi's career is randomized at the start of the game and she is mainly interested in environment, paranormal, health, fashion, sports, and work.

Her name is randomized when Downtown is generated. The name "Vamsi Custer" is only referenced in the game files. According to her SimDNA in SimPE, her hair was blonde before it turned grey. Ironically despite her Aspiration, Vamsi has a very low interest in money.

Vamsi is often known to pick fights with other Sims, due to lack of her nice points. Her facial structure is a customized combination of the 3rd and 8th Maxis face templates in Create a Sim.

Despite being a Fortune Sim, Vamsi has the lifetime want to reach the top of the Law Enforcement career. This want makes her compatible, at least in theory, with a Family or Popularity Sim, though she would have better chemistry with another Fortune Sim.
