The natives set up this nice house on a private stretch of beach as a guest house for castaways and a getaway for stressed-out tribe members. It's one of the best places around to slow down and enjoy the peace of island life.

The Village Residence is a residential lot on Felicity Island, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Castaway Stories. Like all residential lots, it is not visible on the travel map. It eventually becomes the "final" home of the main character and their new spouse in the Shipwrecked and Single story. The hut itself is a long walk from the lot entrance and consists of a completely walled in kitchen/living room with dining on an uncovered deck overlooking an inlet from the sea. Following the deck inwards and down a flight of stairs you come to another hut in which contains a bedroom/bathroom suite. The player's raft constructed earlier in the game will remain in the lot and can be used to travel to isolated places such as The Volcano Shores.

Although Fangaloka Manave proclaims it "their best hut", it is initially rather small and definitely not constructed with a couple in mind. However, it is the largest residential lot in the game and after the story ends it can be modified to fit more residents. There is also a story reward object in a big box buried on the beach of this lot, which contains a wind powered electric generator.

The hut's design can become a problem since it's only constructed with arches, thus townies and NPCs can walk in the house and interact with its Sims and objects even when not greeted or invited, and can stay for days and only leave by asking them to leave or saying goodbye, which bothers some players, so replacing the arches with doors is recommended. Also it's furnished with cheap furnishings and are not enough for two newly married Sims, since for example the bed only fits one person and the size of the room has to be expanded to fit a couples bed.
