Vyn Shibata is one of the pre-made NPC Fitness Hobby instructors who comes from Hobbies, the secret sub-neighborhood introduced with The Sims 2: FreeTime. The other two fitness hobby instructors are Richard Beckett and Cathy Reiner. She appears in every neighborhood once FreeTime has been installed. Vyn can be made playable by befriending and asking her to move in, or by marrying her. She has long blonde hair in braids, dark blue eyes, and medium skin. Vyn is a Knowledge Sim with the Pisces zodiac sign. As far as personality, she is quite active and nice, and a little bit neat. But she is quite shy and serious.

She is mostly interested in Environment and Paranormal. Vyn has the same facial structure as Tosha Go from Pleasantview. Her pre-destined hobby is Sports, and despite being a Fitness hobby instructor, she has a low level of enthusiasm in Fitness. Even though her default head-shot depicts her having long hair in braids, and a brown and white sports outfit, when Vyn is first spawned in-game, she will have medium-length hair in a ponytail, with a dark blue hat. She will also wear a blue sports coach uniform. However Vyn will still retain the hairstyle in her default thumbnail, for most outfits besides everyday.
