The hole in the ground is a hole that appears if a player owns the Expansion pack for The Sims Makin' Magic. If a Sim were to jump in the hole the would be going to Magic Town. A player can buy a hole in the ground from the new category for magic items only, but the Mystery Man can bring it to you, too.
