We can assume that Sims have lungs (or a similar organ) due to the fact that in ''The Sims 3'', Sims can hold a contest on who can hold their breath the longest underwater, and Sims WooHooing in a hot tub will come up for air.
Sims' skins are proven to be sensitive to the sun. Sims also seem to have an immune system, as they are able to cure some diseases by simply resting, though some diseases are more serious and can result in [[death]]. Vampirism is a unique life state which acts as a virus, which Sims can easily be cured of. Their blood, [[plasma]], is not too different from human blood, with similar classes such as o-positive. Dominant and recessive genes also exist in Sim DNA. Also, in ''The Sims 3'', if Sims dye their hair, it will affect their [[genetics]]. If a sim changes their hair color before a Try For Baby The baby's hair color will be that color, or their other parent's color. If a female changes her hair color while pregnant, the baby's hair color will not be changed. However, it seems that they can survive without two kidneys, relating to an opportunity in "[[The Sims 3]]", a very perplexing matter.
