When Nervous signed up to be a test subject for [[Loki Beaker|Loki]] and [[Circe Beaker]], Annie thought he had run off to be with another woman. It is up to the player to prove that this was not really the case and that Nervous never wanted to leave her.
It is also stated the Annie doesn't believe in the afterlife. During a conversation with her and the player, the player mentions about how Nervous still loves her, even though he's deceased. She then replies by saying she doesn't believe in the afterlife, and that she is happy with Nervous still loving her while he was still alive.
It is revealed that she is also the 'Night Beast' in [[Strangetown]].
